I went to certain hospital system in Northern California, and after loosing 35 pounds in 2 months I received a letter telling me the doctor did not understand why I lost so muck weight and I should get a scan. Dr. Michaels figured out the problems! Thank u!!

The tests may seem excessive, the wait may inconvenient, but this is not a “lube job” on your car! I say thank you Dr Michael!

After going to the doctor for 13 years I appeared today for my annual physical. I was not allowed to be seen however until I paid a small balance of roughly $100. I asked if I could take care of that after confirming with my insurance what the charge was for however that request was denied. I did pay the $100 and asked for a copy of my file. That request was denied. I asked if I could wait to speak with Dr. Michaels to get a copy of the file and that request was denied. I was then asked to leave the office or they would call security to escort me out. I walked in as a patient And walked out feeling like a criminal. Do not go to this doctor. I am filing a complaint with the medical board today.

This guy is the worst I have ever seen. He ran a lot of unnecessary tests and cost me a lot of money. DO NOT SEE HIM.

Patients in for annual physicals will be given a bunch of unknown tests that they didn't ask for. Will be blamed later by front desk saying that they are adults and they could have stopped them at anytime. Billed 250 for annual physical that was coded incorrectly 3 times, spent at least 10 hours on the phone with insurance/doctors office /billing. Doctor refuses to acknowledge mistake at expense of all his patients. I haven't seen a doctor since (too scared). Read his yelp reviews they are frightening. Something fishy is going on at this office.

If you need someone whom is willing to devote their life and time to you; Dr. Michael is your choice. My Family has been a patients for 12 Years, in fact we were Dr. Michael's first patients to join his Zconcierge practice after he took over from Hans Weber, MD in BH. . We live mostly in Europe , Malibu and Munich. He has done nothing but, give, give, and give. My son calls him at 3 am. My wife may call him on Weekends, and I see him privately when we are in Malibu. He will spend a day- sometimes the night, and is treated like family. I write this, because I have had the unfortunate reviews from " children" on YELP. Yes, the YELP that is recommends gas stations and convience stores and maids. (It is a testament to how poor our healthcare system has become come snd the lack of respect young patients have whom do not even know him.- most upset because they probanlybdo not want to pay a medical bill), sadly. So, I take this time so, those of that do know him give him the proper respect… that he has not only earned , but deserves.

The best! I will refer to no one else! I am a concierge pt. and I hsve same day accesx to the best Doctors that he areanges for me!

Dr. Michael is an excellent physician and true professional who has accurately addressed and diagnosed any health issues I had. He clearly and patiently explains anything that I don't understand and takes time to make sure that I am comfortable with any decisions regarding medications or potential procedures. I especially appreciate the proactive action he takes to mitigate these issues before they become problematic. As a result my cholesterol and blood pressure have drastically improved and my body mass index is right where it should be and my overall health is great. His staff is great and very friendly, helpful and always courteous. Dr. Michael also gives great referral recommendations in the event that I need the services of other specialty doctors within the healthcare network which is important to me when looking for another good doctor or surgeon. I highly recommend him to anyone in search of a personal physician!!!

Think about whether youâ??re with the right doctor. Youâ??re waiting for at least 90 minutes past your scheduled appointment time. Each timeâ?¦no exceptions. Your EKG is consistently irregular (mostly at this doctorâ??s office) and you need an ultrasound of your heart, every year. Youâ??re perfectly healthy but need a carotid artery ultrasound (also every yearâ?¦ even though there are superior ways to test for carotid artery disease). To perform these two tests annually is highly unusual. Your doctor cancels appointments with you, on the same day, and after youâ??ve been waiting for him in the waiting room, for hours. While your doctor will talk to you about the results of the many tests that were performed, he will not examine you. In conversations with your doctor, you often feel scared into thinking that even more tests are necessary to rule out potential conditions that frighten you. Yet, your doctor makes you feel very special. When he feels like it, he will even answer your… questions or concerns via email. He signs his emails to you â??with careâ?? and â??in gratitude.â?? He gives you the impression that youâ??re somehow and for some reason a special patient and part of some â??eliteâ?? client base. This flatters you. So, you stay. You stay with him for over 10 years even though you know that the extremely long waiting periods are an indication of very poor office management. You stay even though you wonder why your doctor never examines you. Why all the various tests are necessary each and every year. You stay even though you have doubts. Then you move away to OC. But you still stay. How can you possibly leave this very caring doctor? Then you have to cancel an appointment or two, for the first time in over 10 years. A close friend of yours passed away and you wish to attend her memorial services. And then, to your great surprise, your doctor â??terminatesâ?? you as a patient. No warning. You wish you understood why. Youâ??re not aware of any wrong doing. No more emails. No more caring. You were never that special patient, were you? You wish you could obtain your medical records. You learn that you have the right to a copy, by law. No response. But maybe starting from scratch is your healthiest choice? Think about whether youâ??re with the right doctorâ?¦

I am a would be new patient of Dr. Michael's. I have now placed 12 unanswered phone calls over 3+ weeks to schedule a check up. This office has absolutely failed..
