I don't know which Dr Watkins these naysayers saw, but the Dr Brian Watkins I saw provided excellent care. He explained things thoroughly. He ordered testing that further clarified my diagnosis. I am a high-risk surgical candidate, and he respects my decision for surgery only as a last resort; however, should that be unavoidable I know I will be in skilled, careful, and trustworthy hands. The office/medical staff were polite, caring, knowledgeable. and efficient. I would go nowhere else for surgical care.

Notice how old the bad reviews are. This is the surgeon colleagues go to see! I am one and I will not see anyone else!!

The bad reviews are just that- Impossible. Unfortunately I have had many operations from many different surgeons. Dr Watkins was the MOST approachable, kind surgeon of them all. I don't know how these reviews are allowed on here!

Excellent!!! I had surgery for a recurrent hernia that I had repaired 30 years ago. Dr Watkins was complete in his medical explanation,management options, and recommendations. Most importantly the surgical repair was excellent. Highest recommendation.

I am surprised by the negative reviews. This man saved my life, was kind, thorough and encouraging to me and my family after he performed an emergency surgery. I was fortunate he was on call the evening I got so sick. He even called me at home. I would highly recommend him and his office staff clinical and administrative who were nothing but helpful to me.

Dr. Watkins took his time in my first office visit to explain everything to me. He answered all of my questions and gave me some options to think about. During my second appointment, we agreed that surgery was the right choice for me. The office staff is very nice and scheduled my surgery exactly where and when I wanted to have it. I had surgery yesterday and my experience was excellent.

Dr. Watkins never examined my husband nor did anyone else. He sent him for a MRI then canceled the appointment and told my husband to go to Dr.McFarland for an upper gi who in turn would f send him for blood work. We were tired of his run around so we canceled gallbladder surgery with Dr Watkins
