Dr. Bruce Joel Gillers, MD

Dr. Gisller was recommended to me by a friend. I found it easy to make an appointment to discuss a concern of mine. Dr. Giller's office assistant was prompt, polite and professional. I waited for less than 5 minutes to be seen. Dr. Geller asked questions about my concerns, reassured me about my situation, made an appointment for minor surgery. He was thorough in answering questions and made me feel comfortable, explaining what he would do for treatment, where to check in for surgery, etc. My appointment for surgery went well. It was obvious that the RN who attended my operation thought highly of him as a doctor. Dr. Gillers made sure I was comfortable, explaining every step of the way what he was going to do and making sure I would feel no pain. After minor surgery, he took the time to explain what I should do for follow up care, and once again let me know what I might expect as I healed. He was even concerned that I might feel discomfort at losing a few eyelashes! I am… looking forward to my follow up appointment. If you are looking for a highly trained, knowledgeable, professional and kind ophthamologist, look no further!

Knowledgeable, good at explaining. His "bedside" manner is not the best.

Dr. Gillers does not take any time to explain what tests he is doing. All his office equipment is completely outdated and he doesnt seem to understand how to talk to patients at all. All he did was give me the chart test, then tell me my prescription hasnt changed. He has not professional in the least and I feel cheated out of my yearly eye exam thats covered by my insurance. I would highly recommend staying away from this office. Terrible experience.
