Dr. Bruce Jeffrey Goldstick, MD

I feel like I have been DECEIVED by Dr. Goldstick. He told me that if I paid him an extra $6,000 for an upgraded cataract replacement lens, I would NOT HAVE TO wear glasses. After the procedure, my mid range vision was excellent, but my near and distance were not improved. Questioning if the surgery was done correctly, I went to a renowned Retina specialist who, in his medical report, said that this patient WILL NEED GLASSES even though the surgery was done properly. A second opinion confirmed that the surgery was also done properly. However, both the Retina Specialist and the other Ophthalmologist said that Cataract Surgery DOES NOT work for everyone. When I challenged Dr. Goldstick multiple times in writing and verbally about this and why did I pay you an extra $6000, HE NEVER ANSWERED THE QUESTION. He just kept saying the surgery was done properly...he will not refund my money and dropped me as a patient. He took my money, didn't fix the problem and denied any fault.

The office experience from check in to check out was great. Courteous staff and technicians. Dr. Goldstick was very up to date in his clinical practices. He is wonderful doctor that I would highlly recommend.

He has treated me and my family for years. He is an excellent and compassionate physician.

If you want to permanently mess up your vision, chose Dr. Goldstick. Dr. Goldstick infected my eye after a cataract operation. I endured four months of excruciating pain, another eye infection, retina reattachment surgery, lost half my vision, and permanent bleeding in the infected eye. Dr. Goldstick during this process: tries to sell me glasses, sell me on another surgery, tells me the wrong reading glass I need, and tells me in 22 years of practicing I am the first double eye infection he has ever had!!! (I am so lucky.) Office is dirty, office staff has to be related because they are so rude. Goldstick handed me off to another eye specialist to cure the eye infection. The specialist had me waiting around for 7 hours, did not have time to wait for the pain shots to take effect and proceeds to inject a total of 7 needles into my open eye. The pain was a 10 on the 1 â?? 10 scale. Five days later the same eye gets worse. The emergency doctor cures infection, but detaches my retina,… getting retina reattachment surgery from specialist.

Dr. Goldstick is the best eye doctor on the Northshore. He spends time with his patients. He will figure out what your needs are, discuss the issues and then prescribe the best plan. I have recommended him to many people and they all love him! His staff is also very helpful, patient and courteous. Highly recommended!!!

I have been going to Dr. Goldstick for around 20 years. I have very bad eyes and would not trust them to anyone else but him. He was able to improved my vision!! His staff is wonderful, but he is amazing. There is not a better doctor or practice out there!!!!!! LOVE him!

Dr. Goldstick has been a godsend to me. His work is excellent, he cares for his patients and makes himself availble to his patients when they need his assistance. On some occasions he has checked out what I thought was a problem, assured me theat it wasn't a problem, and that I shouldn't worry about it. On the other side, when an unusual situation came up, he recognized what the problem was, and had no problem referring me to another doctor who specialized in that issue. I appreciate a doctor who knows what he knows and is willing refer a patient to another doctor specializing in the precise area.
