I went in for a checkup and told him about my reflux and he said just keep taking my medicine.

Dr Poage pays great attention to details and responds very quickly. Listens! - Generally agrees, but more importantly, he is not afraid of disagreeing and being assertive when he feels a certain test is of great value. Medicine is not an absolute science. A lot about health and medication is trial and error, it can take time to get things right - not just a diagnosis but also the accurate level of medication. In my case I have two medical conditions that don't interact very well together. This makes it difficult to achieve the perfect outcome with medication. I am really enjoying having a doctor who allows me to trial different combination of drugs. I feel that we work as a team through dialogue and follow ups - we are both striving for the same - the best outcome for me. Dr Poage has been fantastic!

My husband went to see Dr. Poage for his annual check up, and he did absolutely nothing. Did not check his vitals, address any concerns my husband was having, including his restless legs at night (told him to workout before bed to tire them out), told him to do a self exam for testicular cancer, and sent him out for blood work. We would not recommend these services to anyone.

I would not go back to Dr. C. Poage. I was there once and was given a prescription for Indomethacin 50 MG capsules. The warnings on this drug included increasing chance of heart attack or stroke, even if you have no heart problems. Chances are also increased in older people. I am 77 years old. I don't want to take chances like that. He also needs to improve the way he talks to his patients.

I am very happy to be a patient of Dr. Poage. He is intelligent and discusses options for treatment. My health problem is so much better. He will see on same day.....I appreciate that
