I personally didn’t like her attitude As soon as she saw me she said how what brings you to the appointment today ? She didn’t really seem to care what I was explaining to her about my previous blood work and specialist appointments . She just didn’t want to do her job as a doctor and all she said was continue your appointments with the specialists and then we will see .

While Dr. Martinez may do her job referring patients to specialists....the staff in that office does a lousy job. They do not call patients to pick up referrals. Referrals can sit in the receptionist windows for who know how long and patients are not notified....once you get a referral you are lucky if you can get into the office of the incompetent physicians office you are regretted to. In Deleons office I called for days in a row....and got an answering machine...waited for over one minute all their messages that were not applicable to me to get a final message that the voice mail was full and I could not leave a message....do they don't answer the phone or pick up and clear messages....or probably don't follow up with patients....really sad...the specialist....like neurologists can't see you for over 60 days....and if you get in ....as they don't answer phones in their offices....follow up will be in 6 to 8 weeks ...these entire network puts patients lives at risk.....when I called… the office administrator to complain....she took my name....and I did not ever hear from her....these people deserve jobs cleaning the streets not managing the medical conditions of sick patients....they endanger their lives ...there seems not to be a QA System in place where the Dr. Follows up with patients to see if they have seen the specialists see I further treatment can continue...really sad and incompetent and no caring staff employed there starting with the office Administrator. ..she doesn't do her job do her employees don't either....and what seems to be the big name Blue Cross Blue Shield...contracts with lousy doctors offices and appears to have no system in place to eliminate these incompetent doctors offices from their Network. ..only caring about collecting premiums but not monitoring results for the money that these doctors get paid to live extravagant lives. ..while patients make hard earn premiums and their lives are needlessly exposed to further risks. There is no accountability. I am looking for another primary....run.

She told my grandma she was only allowed two questions per visit . Ridiculous . How do you tell an elderly woman she is only allowed two questions at the doctors office

I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease over 6 years ago, and I was looking for a good PCP who would listen to my symptoms and care about my overall well being. After shuffling around from doctor to doctor, I went to Broward Community Family Health clinic. I didn't know which doctor I was going to see, until a nurse suggested Dr. Carmen De Leon. She's been my doctor for many years since, and still is today. She listens to her patients and cares about my well being. I know that every time I have an appointment, my concerns will be addressed. I haven't been to another PCP since, and I'm very happy with everything she's done for me. I recommend her to everyone I know.
