Dr. Carol H. Schmidt, MD

She was running behind so she cancelled my appointment when I was already there. She told me to reschedule. I drove 45 minutes to see her and cancelled work. Don’t schedule with her if you actually want to see her!!!

My mother went to Doctor Schmidt and highly recommended her. My mother being 82 and a voracious reader her vision is very important. I read a couple of reviews on here by "patients" of Dr. Schmidt's, but highly doubt they are legitimate as they are poorly written with many seriously misspelled words. I am making an appointment and will keep you posted, but I am pretty sure I will have a professional experience with a great Doctor.

Dr carol schmidt was aggressive bordering on beligerent. Would not answere my questions. Spoke over me. She was angry and without Any interest or understanding of the difficulties I Am experiencing.She was gruff abd rough in her Handleing of my right eye She was rushed and made me feel like an imposition.She missed putting the drops in my right eye that she yanked open . When I told her she talked over me andd Left the room. My eye did not dillate and she put more drops and let me sit for a half hour more while she went and sat in another room. I had to go ask her to come and finish. She rsaid she lost thirty pounds because she wanted a change.She needs to change ger approach to patients. She itreated me and my concernsv in a quite hostile manner. gloria cassens

Dr carol schmidt was aggressive gruff and rough in hiw she spoke and pried open my right eye as tho she were using a pair of pliers.. She did not pur drops in eye adequetly and when I told her she jyst talked over me as she dud thru out visit. I had to have drops repeated second time I waited for a halff hour then walked across to room she was sitting to ask her to come and finish my visit. I spoke with Bridgette about her conduct. Dr carol schmit was rrobotic and without an ounce Of interest in my concerns. Telling me I could leave If I wanted. This is not the first time she has treated Me in an iso what attitude. gloria cassens

Dr. Schmidt never introduced herself in my visits. She never asked my nane. She was very mechanical in her interactions with me. She gave poor recommendations regarding my glasses resulting in my wasting $600 on lenses that were inappropriate. She had me follow up in 6 months for suspected glaucoma (which she hadn't informed me was in serious consideration) and then said she was expecting that result. Medication should have been started sooner. She seemed quite disinterested on all occasions that I saw her.

Extremely accurate in her diagnosis.
