Dr. Cecil Fitzalbert Bennett, MD

I bring my elderly dad here. So far the treatment by the staff has been polite and timely. We are always seen by a NP who is exceptional. Never met Dr. Bennett. Wondered a time or two if he actually exists. Dad is getting all of his meds worked out and he is doing very well.

I had a first time visit with Dr. Bennett and It was a very relaxed environment. Everyone including front desk staff and Back Desk Nurses were awesome. I would highly recommend. So helpful and tons of information to share when you have questions.

I am disappointed with the fraudulent bill for services not rendered. Billing to Medicare for services not received. When brought to the billing department their comment was Medicare pays for it, why do you care. I care because I do pay for my Medicare and this lack of integrity causes all policies to go up in cost to all retired persons

Made my first appointment in which I specified it was for my annual exam. When I arrived, I was seen by the NP not the doctor. She explained annual exams aren't done during the first visit and that I would have to return.

I made an appointment and when I got to the doctor's office I was told I was not on the schedule. I have been going to this location for over 40 years and have had this happen twice since doctor Bennett took over for deceased Dr. Theriot at the hospital Road location. I understand someone making a mistake, but I do not understand why the doctor would reprimand me instead of his staff member who made the mistake. That is unless she lied and told him I caused a scene which I never do. Also rude remarks were made about my autistic daughter right in front of her by the nurses. She is not deaf she is autistic. Shame on you! Since Dr, Bennett and his staff took over for Dr. Theriot since her death Newnan Family Medicine has really changed for the worse. They are unprofessional and very rude. I will find another doctor because I will not be treated with such hate and ignorance.

Then Dr. Bennett proceeded to scold me about my attitude. I didn't know that being unhappy about being mistreated automatically gave someone an attitude. All I wanted was for them to follow though with my appointment . Then I changed my mind about seeing this doctor because evidently his office staff are like children and get their feelings hurt too easily. When you make a mistake just say you did it and don't take it out on your customers.

I sure wish Dr. Theriot was still alive and practicing. She never seemed prejudiced against other races like Dr. Cecil Bennett and his staff.

I was looking forward to meeting this doctor. I had heard great things and he came with a good recommendation. Later, I found out the person had never met the doctor himself, which explains a lot. Took my Loved One in, who has dementia. It was obvious he does not understand dementia and has no business treating patients with this disease! Will NOT, be going back to him.

I've been going to him for 4 years now and he is the best Doctor! He listens and actually engages with his patients. Best Dr and staff!
