Dr. Chander Mohan, MD

Dr Mohan saved my life! I have a head injury and have Post Concussive Syndrome, Major Depression, and Anxiety due to my head injury from a work accident. I was on the highest dosage of Zoloft with little results and when I saw Dr Mohan he added a 1/2mg of Abilify and after three years I “woke up”. He is the most compassionate, knowledgeable, understanding, funny, professional, and kindhearted man that I have ever met! I’m not sure who some of the other reviewers saw but I have been a social worker for over 37 years so I would not tolerate a “fake” person treating me.

He did nothing for me. It took another doctor that replaced him to undo everything he did to me. Glad he is gone from Ravenwood. One sick doctor.

This man literally did not ask me anything. He knows nothing about me. Didn't ask me about any symptoms or problems I was experiencing. We literally sat in silence the majority of the time while he typed on his computer and then had the audacity to just give me prescription for a new antidepressant.

I Really Am GLAD That He Left Ravenwood, Because, For One Thing, He Did Not LISTEN To Me Like He Should Have. One Ravenwood Employee (That I Know Well) Told Me There Were A Lot Of Complaints About Him.Another Employee Said That They Thought He May Have Been ASKED To Leave Ravenwood.Two Other Patients That I Talked To Said That He Did Not Listen To Them.He Also Did This To Me At Least Once,Or More Than Once. He Once Told Me That "He Knows Everything".That's All I Have To Say For Now,But Hope To Do Another Review About Him In The Future.

He shouldn't be a psychiatrist as he does not seem to care about his patients. He did not listen to my concerns regarding medication or take into account my prior experiences on several meds he was offering me. He is rude and cold. This was my 2nd appointment with him. In the 1st appointment he spent approx 10 minutes of a scheduled 60 minute session. Refused to listen to me over my concerns regarding a possible diagnosis and told me repeatedly that I was being belligerent. This man is a danger to his patients!

This man is a danger to his patients! Stay away!

Never remembered my name....changed my medication way too quickly....prescribed medications for things that I did not need them for... absolutely terrible

I have been seeing him for several years and he is very easy to talk to.

I have been to see Dr. Mohan over several months. I go in wait about 10 mins spend approx 7-8 mins with the Dr each time that's it. He asked nothing of substantial value and then hands out medication and sends me home. I don't think this is how psychologist naturally work. No matter the accolades in this office this guy does NOT actually care about his patients. Be aware and do not go!

I have been to several psychiatrists and Dr Mohan is by far the best. He takes the time with me at each visit to find out what is going on with my life and to make sure I am still on the right meds. He's not like most who barely know your name and just write your scripts at each appointment. Even though the appointment does not last very long I think he is very thorough. And if you need to speak with him about something he will take the extra time that is needed to listen and try to provide solutions or something to try. I would never want to change phychiatrists.
