Dr. Charles Arthur Popeney, DO

MS patient for over 30 years. Have been seeing this GREAT MAN for over 20 years since we moved to Texas. He is caring, kind, compassionate, empathetic, knowledgeable, patient and thorough. He doesn’t just treat the condition, he treats the whole patient. He is what every physician should be. He has given me hope and quality of life. A GOD SEND, am so grateful he chose this profession.

Easily the worst doctor I have ever visited. Took a phone call while I was describing my situation, didn't listen at all, wouldn't remember who I was or my medical history during the multiple follow-ups he had me do, and couldn't even give me a proper diagnosis as I found out later from different providers. Once he decided that he had his diagnosis, there was no changing his mind, despite me not having any symptoms of the condition he claimed to be treating which is absolutely terrifying. In addition, his office was absolutely horrible about scheduling appointments and forced me to reschedule the day before/day of my appointments on multiple occasions despite having scheduled me weeks in advance. It's absolutely amazing how bad my experience here was as I've never written a review about anything in my life until today.

One visit with this happy smiling physician and I got a diagnosis. My medication was changed and my problem has almost completely disappeared and it’s been over 15 years. Now I don’t think he can cure everyone with one visit but knowing him he certainly will try

He is a top notch Neurologist. He has saved my life. I was in a coma. Would highly recommend. Opinions are different for everyone, however, if some patients do not get their way with a Dr., they will give them a bad review which is childish. He is extremely professional. He has been my physician since 2008.

A Dr. is only as good as the staff. I have had a terrible experience with this office and there" SouthSide" office that they use to conduct the infusion appointments. Nobody know what is going on at either office. They send you back and forth and it is absolutely ridiculous. Dr. Popeney has put me on numerous medications. Still having horrible headaches with no relief.

I am soo thankful to God and Dr. Popeney. I saw him in Laredo Tx. on a Dr. Missonary Services I had pain for like a year that I could"nt even walk and i saw him a one time and explain to him my synthoms i had been taken priscribe pain killers that didn'nt help me at all and with the medication he gave me i am able to wake up and walk with out pain! If I had read the reviews before I would never had been to this doctor. All he was interested in was pulling out a voice recorder to record the reason for my visit, and writing prescriptions. He did not take anytime to examine me. Anytime I called his office I never got the chance to talk to him. With other reviews praising him, makes me think he discriminates among his patients.

Bad about follows ups... Tells you to call him, but receptionist won't let you talk to him.. Waste of time seeing him
