Chaula Kharode, MD

Was very surprised to read the negative reviews I saw on Dr. Kharode. My son has been seeing Dr. Kharode for seven years for a seizure disorder. She has never steered us wrong, or has requested unnecessary testing. The medicine regimen she has my son on has worked very well. She is always very kind during our visits and never rushes us through an appointment. We are very grateful to have had her taking care of our son.

Dr Kharode ruined my sons life by mis- diagnosing him 15 years ago. Even after being fully cleared by a psychologist and her partner, Dr Atluru, her writing on paper a diagnosis, that was not accurate destroyed his future!!

Dr. Kharode was condescending and rude when talking to me about my sons health issues. She made me feel as if I was bothering her by asking questions. Her responses were always sarcastic and with an attitude. Terrible bedside manner, I will be taking my son elsewhere for care. Would not recommend Dr. Kharode to anyone.

Horrible bedside manner and very quick to recommend invasive tests. No compassion and very judgemental instead of showing the necessary support that parents and children need.

She is very dismissive. No bedside manners. She makes it seem like there is nothing wrong with my child. Meanwhile my daughter gets into this dizzy spell that she looks completely drunk out of nowhere. Shr said it wasn't Vertigo and then her response is well since you guys are here in my office it leaves me no choice to send you for a test. Really?? do you honestly feel that people take 2 hours of the day just to go into your office and make stuff up? Doctors like that at the reason that some patients have complications that could have been avoided.

I was told to see her by the ER doctor after my 7 year old son sustained a concussion. It took me three weeks to get this appointment. I needed her to clear him for school. When I finally came to see her I felt like I was being judged. Dr. Kharode wanted to know why I kept my son out of school and why didn't I get an earlier appt. i had to ask her if I was a doctor or the person making appointments for her at the front desk. No bedside manners at all.

Do not see this dr, took my baby to see her she ordered invasive tests that were not needed, we were able to get the same information from a much less invasive test which the dr said would not have been possible, find different dr

Dr kharode is not very personable. She also does not respond back right away.

Would never go back to them again.

Dr. Kharode looked at my 9 month old son for 5 minutes. He was looking at his hand, and immediately she tried to tell us that he is probably autistic. Instead of recommending therapy, she recommended an MRI and a CT scan at that age which we did not agree to. We went for a second opinion and another (much more professional) neurologist was able to correctly diagnose my son without recommending any invasive tests. We were also told that 9 months old is WAY too soon to make an autism diagnosis. Through EI services recommends by the second neurologist, my son has made tremendous progress. He does not fit the criteria for ASD.
