Dr. Cheryl Leilani Leialoha, MD

I just had my second son on 10-10-18. Dr. Leialoha delivered him and me and my husband couldn’t have been more happy with her. Everything she told us to do was in our best interest and our baby’s. Dr. Leialoha is very personable. She cares about her patients and goes above and beyond to acquire more than just a superficial relationship. I would highly recommend Dr. Leialoha. She’s amazing and we hope she will deliver any other kids we have.

Dr. Leialoha was my OB/GYN through 2 of my pregnancies and delivered both of my children. She was always so informative and direct and made me feel so comfortable, like talking to a sister or good friend. We even ran into each other in public several times and she remembered my name as well as my kids' names! she is just awesome, I moved to the mainland and am very sad I have to find a new doctor!

Overheard gossip amongst doctor and staff regarding a patient. Not very compassionate to unfortunate situations. Will never go to her again for fear that she would gossip about my personal issues to her staff within earshot of other patients.

The office in Waipahu is dirty. I could not sit on the chair at her office because it was just disgusting. I will never come back! unless i need to buy crocks for $15!!!just shameless...don't waste your time, go to a professional who can afford a decent and clean office.

I was recommended to Dr Leiloha from a friend and had to go to her in an emergency miscarriage. They made me wait in the office for a couple of hours and didnt rush me in. The staff was very unprofessional and uncaring they snickered all the while. I had to finally ask them if I can go to a room in privacy so I do not scare the other patients. I was basically on the couch rolling around in pain and they still made me wait. When they finally took me in the doctor assessed that I had a miscarriage and was not sympathetic and caring. I asked her if I needed to do something or take something to help and she said basically go on like nothing happened that this sort of thing happens all the time. I was sick in bed for a while and no follow up phone calls or care from the doctor. I even called to switch doctors so that I can get follow up care and discuss how bad I was feeling and they told me that I cannot switch doctors that she owned the practice. I drove myself to the pharmacy and picked… up some vitamins myself I pretty much took care of myself. It is unfortunate that there are still doctors like that practicing and I will never go to that practice or recommend anyone there again. she needs to practice the caring humaine part of her practice. I hope she figures it out someday and changes for the sake of her patients.

DR. LEIALOHA IS THE BEST OF THE BEST WHEN IT COMES TO PATIENT CARE. HER OFFICE IS VERY BUSY... A TESTAMENT TO HER POPULARITY... SO, SOMETIMES THE WAIT IS LONG. BUT COMPLETELY WORTHWHILE! SHE IS PASSIONATE ABOUT GETTING YOU THE CARE YOU NEED, AND WORKS VERY DILIGENTLY TO MAKE SURE YOU FEEL SAFE & SECURE IN HER HANDS. I AM SO GLAD I WAS REFERRED TO HER BY A DEAR FRIEND IN THE MEDICAL PROFESSION. I HOPE TO HELP SPREAD THE WORD SO THAT OTHERS CAN ALSO EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH SUCH A BRIGHT, TALENTED, FRIENDLY, AND HONEST DOCTOR.
