Dr. Christine M. Kovac, MD

The absolute worst bedside manner I’ve ever encountered. DOES NOT LISTEN to the patient or allow them to be an active participant in their own care. There is no advocating for yourself with her. It’s either her way or the highway. After being hospitalized I refused to see her any more because of her poor approach in my time of most need. Look elsewhere. Waiting to see one of the other doctors from her practice in the coming days, hopefully whoever they send will actually listen and talk through my concerns and have a shred of compassion. Please do yourself a favor and look elsewhere before scheduling an appointment with her.

Poor bed side manor. Very forceful when she wants something done. Does not take into account the patient feelings even after she is asked to remove herself from care. If you want to feel more stress and frustration see this doctor otherwise look elsewhere

I am rarely late to appointments and if I am, I always call. I went for an ultrasound and I was late by 15 minutes to the office itself. I was already in the hospital building waiting at the registrar's office to be checked in for my ultrasound. They couldn't find me in the system with an appointment so I finally called the office and they told me to come directly to the office instead of checking in anywhere else. I was not previously informed of this of course. Then I waited 35 mins while the receptionist, the ultrasound tech and this MD Dr. Kovac made small talk in plain sight. There was no one else waiting in the office the entire time I was there. They talked about $8000 MRI bills, hiring of wimpy staff, etc. It was VERY unprofessional. I had no idea that one of the 3 talkers was the doctor herself along with the ultrasound tech Barb/Barbara until I was finally taken into the room for my exam. No apologies for being taken in so late and Barbara took additional photos of… the baby's heart for her personal studies without informing me about this. I did complain to the office manager but still I feel like this is information that other patients would want a heads up about before coming here. I hope I never have to come back.

I met her through Perinatal Partners and she was ok. Her bedside manner was ok. I had her at Miami Valley and she was horrible. She was trying to force something upon me that I didn't want. She refused to listen to what I wanted until I snapped at her. I would not recommend her to anyone unless you are looking for someone who doesn't listen and what you to do what she wants.
