Do not ignore all these negative reviews about Dr. Trupiano. This doctor will dismiss all of your symptoms and your concerns. I told her all about my postpartum systems and she dismissed it all as Normal. Luckily, I’ve seen another doctor who didn’t see my symptoms as normal and did some testing on me. The results were not normal. If you can, find another care. She is not someone who should be a doctor, not sure why she still is, since she also misdiagnosed me.

She did an amazing Job, helping me with my Problems, I just wish she could be my primary doctor too.

A 25 year old young mom was pregnant and concerned about miscarriage. She has had experience with them in the past but has also had a live birth. She became pregnant and after multiple ultrasounds confirming everything was OK... a trip to the ER stated her levels were dropping and there was no sign of heartbeat. She went to the Health Department and while waiting for Dr. Trupiano... asked THREE "nurses" about getting an ultrasound and testing her hcg levels, for peace of mind and confirmation (She knows miracles can happen...she has a son as proof). Each went behind the curtain and called Dr. Trupiano who said "NO". When Dr. Trupiano arrived, she asked her to please (crying) do the test and ultrasound... Dr. Trupiano replied... "It's not necessary...I've seen the report from the hospital". Apparently Dr. Trupiano has never heard of the wrong leg being cut off by Over Confident physicians/surgeons like herself! Thus, she performed the DNC and the young mother is at home devastated… wondering "IF". I would call Dr. Trupiano a name that I really think of her...but I think her license and priviledges being revoked would work for the moment! I've never seen such horrible healthcare and am frightened for ALL patients of the Sarasota Health Department! This is barbaric!!!! In addition, this is the same physician fro the Sarasota Health Department that put this girl on pitosin for 18 hours!!! 18..What the heck? What kind of healthcare is this??? Can a baby not come down the canal like it's supposed to anymore? Is this what healthcare is now? BARBARIC!!

Was my Daughter's MD over last few hours. Thank God there was a shift change and another MD took over. Dr. Trupiano only appeared twice in 12 hours and was virtually only there for 30secs. She is rough, insensitive, and rude. She should NOT be a doctor, especially in a field that requires empathy and caring, attributes that she surely lacks. I would like to have given her 0 stars because she doesn't even deserve 1. I heard that she's retiring soon; not soon enough for me. Good riddance!

Terrible doctor she told me a cyst I had was nothing to worry about 6 months later I was in the emergency room because the cyst was causing my organs to twist around themselves to make room for it. I was willing to dismiss her terrible bedside manner but the negligence is another matter.

She has no right to be a called a Dr

I was greeted coursely, unprofessionally and very judgmentally. I have seen quite the number of Doctors in my 19 years of life but I've never met one who wouldn't even shake my hand, take my pulse or believe that I was making up my symptoms just to get free birth control. I wasn't even able to finish listing my symptoms before she wrote me a prescription and sent me on my way within 4 minutes of our session. I then made an appointment elsewhere and got the most satisfactory medical attention including a proper diagnosis. Need less to say, I'm more than happy this office is closing.

Good think she's closing her practice she's a risk in a danger !

Office staff is very nice and really care for the patients. She didn't seem to care about me or my concerns that I had. She never faced me, nor reviewed my health history with me. If I never asked her questions, she never would have spoke to me. I'm looking for a new doctor that cares.

Dr Trupuani has been my ob-gyn for 13 years. She and her staff are professional and I have always felt well cared for. She will continue to be my doctor.
