Dr. Bechtel did both of my knee replacement surgeries. He always took the time to listen, engaged me in the treatment process and did so with great respect. He showed lots of compassion and empathy in his bedside manners. He is competent and a greatly skilled surgeon. I'm recovering well. I would send any of my loved ones to see him. He truly sets the bar high for medical professionals.

Dr. Bechtel and his staff were excellent. The surgery went great. If I had any complaint about anything it would be that 1) it isn't the easiest thing in the world to get in touch with him since I'm not particularly computer savvy and 2) Way too many computer surveys and messages.

Dr. Bechtel did my left knee replacement and everything went super smooth and Doc was very friendly and open & honest with me. He handled my complications very professionally and went the extra mile to make sure I was taken care of and doing well. I was so please I am going back to get my right knee done by Dr. Bechtel. Dr. Bechtel is reasonableness caring. He goes beyond his great skills as a surgeon to visit you and be concerned about your progress. He did a total hip replacement of both hips and could not ask for anyone as awesome as he is.

After seeing one of my neighbors recovering from total hip replacement very quickly I decided to see Dr. Bechtel. I had suffered from hip problems for a few years. I got an office appointment within 2 weeks, and my surgery was scheduled 3 weeks after that initial visit. Dr. Bechtel has an amazing talent fixing hips. I was walking a few hours after surgery, the pain was minimal, the incision was 4 inches and closed with glue instead of staples or stitches. I was home the next day, needed only 3 physical therapy sessions and was up and "running" and even driving within a week. Everything went so well that now, after 13 weeks, I still can't believe that I actually have a new hip. I have seen Dr. Bechtel twice since my surgery, once about 3 weeks and the second time 12 weeks after surgery. He is as happy as I am with the result. I am free of any pain or discomfort, and I can just recommend Dr. Bechtel to anyone who needs a hip and is afraid of pain. You won't have much pain, trust me!
