Dr. Bruce earned his medical degree at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, where he also completed general surgery residency and postgraduate research. He completed his fellowship in colon and rectal surgery at Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Massachusetts. He is a Fellow of the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery and the author of numerous publications.Dr. Bruce specializes in robotic surgery, using the most technologically advanced equipment for performing complex and delicate procedures.

I had debated for years whether to get RBL for hemorroids I have had for 20+ years. Dr Bruce did not push any procedures and took his time describing how I could use very high fiber diet and other methods. He took over 30 min to review the regimen he answered all my questions on RBL vs THD and other methods. I came away completely satisified, following his recommendations I have not had any problems for many months. I very strongly recommend him as the best Dr you should see in this practice.

Dr. Bruce is a very knowledgeable and talented surgeon who takes whatever time is necessary to explain procedures, results, and care. I highly recommend him for anyone who needs a colorectal surgeon.

Dr. Bruce was persistent in diagnosing my numerous gastrointestinal problems and was able to determine the best course of treatment which ultimately included surgery. I had the utmost confidence in him throughout the several month process and I highly recommend Dr. Bruce for his personal attention and excellent care.
