Dr. Christopher J Prusinski, DO

I had a similar experience to a few of the one star reviews that I read. His office staff did him no favors and were quite unhelpful but I could have overlooked that. After waiting an hour for my second scheduled appt, he spent 10 minutes with me. He told me to take vitamins and said there is no cure for mild cognitive memory loss, Alzheimer’s or dementia. I asked about the research that has been done to break up calcium in the brain using sound wave and light therapy. He never heard about the studies…said calcium build up doesn’t cause Alzheimer’s and that was all internet nonsense. He then practically kicked me out of his office and said no need to see me again. All of that might be true, but his professionalism is certainly in question. I would have rather he said these studies were debunked if they were…that he never even heard of the studies made me question his currency in the field.

Dr. Prusinski was recommended to me by a friend as I have been suffering from peripheral neuropathy for 30 years. I have been to the Mayo Clinic, Shands, and many local neurologists looking for a cause and treatment. Dr. Prusinski took the time to listen to me and was empathetic to my concerns. He said he will not stop looking for a treatment, and he kept his word. He found the right diagnosis and treatment. He started me on IVIG treatments. After only 2 treatments, I am experiencing a remarkable difference in my legs. I expect to regain more movement with the coming treatments. Thank you Dr. Prusinski and staff for giving me hope and an opportunity to walk again! You are truly a blessing!

VERY KIND AND COMPASSIONATE DOCTOR

I went to see dr Prusinski to evaluate my worsening condition. From the first interaction with him, he was very derogatory and racist. He continued to imply that because I have a Latin last name that I could not speak English. I have never felt so degraded by anyone in my life. He refused to evaluate me because in spite of me letting him know that I do not have strength in my legs, he insisted I was lying and that I did not know what I was talking about and that I just did not want to do it. I explained to him that o have been disabled for over 10 year because my nerves were cut around my spine and he questioned me asking me “well how do you know”... he insisted that it was impossible I could not do the movements he requested because “he had been practicing over 35 years” and that I was a liar. I left the office without an assessment and he also told me he could not use his “very expensive “ machine to evaluate me because I was a liar. I DO NOT RECOMMEND HIM and he is a racist

was referred to him for back and neck hernias/bulging disks due to accident - had no resolution - only pressured me to get injections for my pain - left after only 5 visits and moved on to an Orthopedic Surgeon that works much better for this type of pain - horrible person not example of professional medical doctor - does the name "physician" no justice - go elsewhere

DR. Pruzinski and his staff made me feel right at home .. they were very professional and his office is very nice. I Felt very comfortable and secure in the hands of these guys

Was referred to this doctor. When calling for an appointment I asked if he was educated on autonomic dysfunction and was assured that he was. After 3 months of visits, expensive tests, some questionable, I did not have a dx and the words for my condition were never uttered. He freely made negative remarks of another doctor. He has an enormous ego, talks about himself easily. The charges to my ins. company are very questionable. When I questioned his employee about the chrgs.,I was told I didn't know what I was talking about. He did a procedure I know now was unnecessary. He did absolutely nothing to address my reason for the appointments, however, managed to collect sufficient fees! Has no respect for others intelligence.

When he did the nerve conduction test he did not tell me when he started- I just got zapped. Every time I tried asking a question he responded with a sushing noise each time.

Unfortunately I can not rate less than 1 star here. The following are my personal experiences from 3 visits. I felt verbally violated and belittle and frankly amazed at his bizarre behavior. He enters the room , very rushed and “tweeky” .no greeting, or eye contact. Asks a question then , like clockwork cuts me off just few words into my response to tell me I am “wrong”. Contradicts himself over his prescribed course of treatment. “I would never say that” was his response for his documented WRITTEN referral to other doctors and procedures. Perhaps he is just a Unique personality type, or perhaps a bit “on the spectrum”, Others might suggest that some blood work run on this unusually Osteopath might me revealing? I have no personal ax to grind here, and can not directly attest to his medical Efficacy, as he could only refer me to other specialists. Upon my final visit he informed me he “could” provide treatment to help me but “chooses not to”, when asked why, refused to… elaborate. Clearly within his prerogative , just as you can choose to avoid this condescending and frightening practitioner . After reading his many similar negative reviews, I can’t help feeling like a really dodged a bullet being “refused treatment”. I am a senior citizen, been around the block a time or two, I Have NEVER had a negative experience like this, never left a review good or bad. I am no longer a patient, I Wish him well. Caveat emptor to all who read. No complaints on the staff , scheduling or wait times.

This is my Doctor for Essential Tremors. He’s very thorough. He’s open to trying many things. I would recommend him to anyone needing a neurologist.
