Dr. Christopher Yoon-Ki Kong, MD

Dr. Kong is a kind doctor who gives great detail of the problem, and advises well on the steps ahead of how we can work through them together. Thankful for his involvement in fixing my pain. His office's wait times are minimal and the staff is awesome. Recommend!

Dr. Kong is far and away the most caring, intelligent and in-depth specialist I've ever met. Not only was he clear and informative about my options, but I've never felt more listened to and secure. I do not know what I would have done without him. God bless him.

I’m so thankful that he did my spine surgery. He took so much time pre-surgery to explain everything to us. I’ve never had a doctor spend that much time with me at every appointment. While I was in the hospital he visited every day and handled my pain management well. He assured me pre-surgery that if I wasn’t recovering as well as expected that I could go to an in patient rehabilitation facility…thankfully I didn’t need that, instead he sent an in home nurse and in home PT/OT for the length of time I needed them which wasn’t long. At every follow up appointment he took X-rays to make sure everything was still in place correctly and that there were no other problems developing. He instructed me on how to wean off the post surgery narcotics and did not rush me. I’m feeling SO much better then I did before my surgery and I suspect with continued PT I will be back to doing all the things I love. I’m so glad I had this surgery!

Told me a specific type of surgery is not done, when in fact IT IS done as I learned from another Dr who has HAD it done. Not saying I wasn't a candidate, or isn't advised,....he said it was NOT DONE. That the surgery and the science didn't yet make that possible. For anybody. TOTALLY untrue. Skip this guy, Go to an actual Neurosurgeon.

Condescending and rude. Zero bedside manner and full of himself.
