Dr. Claire Yun Chen Chu, MD

Was excited when my eye dr(Gambino) told me that medicare would pay for me to have this lens replacement . a couple of years ago i looked into but thought it was a little pricy . He referred me to Dr Chu and was totally impressed by her team and Dr Chu too. within a month i had both eyes done and seeing like i did back when i was a youngun. Please do not hesitate you will be amazed at what she and her team can do for you . Believe me i will do my best to keep her waiting room with all my blind Buddies . :)_

She refused to discuss findings of the visit until a subsequent visit took place. I had to obtain my medical records from her to review the findings of the first visit. Her record stated that we discussed and I acknowledged understanding when no discussion took place regarding the primary reason I went there for a cataract evaluation. Then her office attempted to schedule me for surgery prior to my receiving any information. That is not aappropriate and seemed like a marketing ploy to get you hooked to commit to surgery even though you had not received any information.

Dr. Chu is a wonderful, knowledgeable, compassionate doctor. My experience with her has been wonderful. I highly recommend her. The front office staff is outstanding as well.

I really like Dr Chu. She is very knowledgeable and thorough. She explains options clearly. My surgery results were excellent. I would rate her 5 star if I didn't have to spend over an hour waiting for my 3 appointments
