My hip guy, Dr Cortland Lewis, is the MAN!, His explainations, bedside manner, and post appts have all been satisfactory by my high standards. I was nervous and he put me at ease. Terry and Karen were great too. He'll be replacing my left hip too, soon and I wouldn't have anyone else do it.He's very handsome too. I love the fact that he is conservative in his decisions for patient care. And everyone in the medical field that I asked about him, they all said the same, he's kind, smart, and has little ego. I would recommend him to anyone. You Go Boy !

Dr. Lewis performed bilateral knee replacements on me in one day 2 years ago. I am now 55 yrs. young because of him and could not be happier and healthier for it. Dr.Lewis considered my desire to have them replaced at the same time even though it is uncommon as I felt confident I was fit enough to rehab both at once. I can't tell you how grateful I am to him that he respected me enough to hear me and spend the effort to do both even though my left knee was difficult to operate on. Long story short I walked around the hosptal the next day with a walker and went to rehab at McLean for a week as an inpatient(great place). I was pain-free after a few months and since I have a very active lifestyle. I also love his staff, esp. Terri and Karen--thanks--you are the best !!!!!

I went to dr lewis for both hip replacements. He was kind and explained everything about the operation. He has high standards which is what you want in a surgeon. He visited me each day I was in the hospital recovering. I would recommend him to anyone needing a hip surgery.

Nice until things don't go so well, then his bedside manner deteriorates and he gives up on finding a solution.
