Dr. Barone made my first video appointment a comfortable, positive experience. Dr. Barone was early to the appointment. He listened well to information I thought was relevant and let me know when areas did not affect my sleep quality. He communicates his expertise clearly and has a warm, encouraging, and respectful manner. I actually enjoyed my doctor's visit with him!

Dr. Barone's name appears on documents associated with my visit to the Cornell Weill Sleep Center, but I have never seen him, talked with him, received texts or emails from him, or communicated with him in any way. So I am not in a position to provide a rating or a review of him personally. As to his practice, however, I'm not too happy with the fact that it takes 2 weeks to prepare a full report, and that the review is scheduled for 5 weeks after the study, despite the post-visit notes indicating that I have a serious condition. It looks like someone is trying to cut costs by controlling post-visit costs. The technicians who administered the study were excellent, and the facilities were just fine, hence my 3 star rating.

Dr Barone is very good doctor. Reviews my CPAP stats. Answers all questions. Listens well even my English not perfect. Gives good info and support. Highly recommended

The visit was a video call about a possible sleep test. Dr. Barone explained everything clearly, asked appropriate questions, and even understood health insurance issues. I was very pleased with the visit.

The entire experience was fantastic. This was first time I had sleep study & was nervous. Once I met Dr. Barone all my fears disappeared. He was friendly, efficient, knowledgeable, took the time to explain every stage of treatment & address all my questions. I left feeling confident in the care I received.

Aside from being extremely competent, Dr. Barone is concerned and caring. He's not quick to just order medication's but steps back and takes a more global view of the situation before he decides what to do. That approach has helped me tremendously and for which I am very grateful.
