I Lasik surgery by Dr. Beers. After the surgery, my vision is still less than 20/40. Plus, my eyes were very dry ever since. I asked him about it, he simply asked me to put more eye drops. He asked me to do 2nd time surgery. After I rejected the suggestion, he never scheduled followup again.

It was over an hour before I was seen. The front desk staff seemed disorganized and the patient in front of me had been waiting for a while and complained. One of the receptionists is hard to understand (not an accent-just the way she communicates) and let me stand there awkwardly because she said she couldn't find my file, then the printer wasn't working, etc. I had to remind them that I had placed the clipboard of forms on the counter, since they didn't respond the first time. It was an hour before I was actually seen by the doctor, and he seemed cold and dismissive. I told him both my eyes were having issues, but because I had said the left one was tearing, he proceeded to turn my left eyelid inside out without much warning. He said I had "allergies" as a way of explanation when I've never been diagnosed with allergies and haven't been aware of any allergic reactions to anything specific. He seemed to roll his eyes when he was answering my question about what kind of… sunglasses would help. Overall, I got the sense that he found me boring and tiresome, and not a patient worth spending any thought or time on. As someone with fibromyalgia, perhaps he saw that in the chart and thought I was some kind of whinger and complainer. Or maybe not being a LASIK patient explained the standoffish and cold treatment. Whatever the reason, I won't be back. One final shout out to the very perky woman in the eyeglasses section-you rock! Don't let your grumpy and sour coworkers get you down!
