Perfect experience with cataract surgery I could not have hoped for a better experience from start to finish with Dr. Hester and his efficient team for the first surgery in my life. Everyone was knowledgable and courteous (while still being real and relatable). The surgery was done on time and painlessly and the recovery has been easy and rapid. I'm grateful for Dr. Hester's expertise and the quality team he has assembled.

I sat in the waiting room for over 30 minutes before being taken back to an exam room to wait for nearly 2 hours. The preliminary exam by one of the nurses seemed competent enough but the exam by the doctor was almost dismissive and rushed. Turned out it was "quitting time" and he was in a hurry to leave. Suggested that I schedule another appointment and come back for a second visit. I'd rate this visit a ")" if it were an option.

Dr. Hestor has been treating my mother for a while and she has been very happy with her care, so I decided to switch to him for my care. I was very pleased with office staff and Dr. Hestor. He was very direct and clear about what I need. I like that in a Dr.

Dr Hester saw me as an emergency patient towards the end of a very , very long day for him. Not only did he give me an extremely through examination but, he took the time to explain exactly what he was checking and looking for. He is kind, compassionate ,caring and very skilled in his field . I highly recommend Dr. Hester. I will be returning to him soon. I should add , not only was I an emergent case but, I had never seen him as a patient until this visit . Also , the office staff is phenomenal and his office manager is the best !

His surgical scheduler Cheeta- never returns call. The insurance company had problems getting in touch with her. She makes it hard to do business at the office. When you come in and watch what goes on there is office staff standing around talking about lunch and personal matters.

I went to Dr. Hester many years ago. He had no bedside manners at all and was rough. Maybe he has changed hopefully. He may be a good doctor, but I had no comfort in him.

Dr. Hester is a very honest and accurate physician, one that can be trusted with your eyes. He sincerely cares about you, you are not just a number. I have seen him tell people that they don't need surgery, he's upfront about everything, he will not give you surgery if you don't need it. Where are other physicians would do it just for the money.
