Dr. Henry Douglas Holt, MD

I was referred to Dr Holt for a partially detached retina. He completed in office surgery/lasik repair on the same day preventing a fully detachment. He explained all procedures and while uncomfortable and at times painful - he and his staff were wonderful and supportive to myself and my husband. I would not hesitate to return to him for any future issues

I had laser surgery done by Dr.Holt to correct tears in the eye which if untreated can lead to retinal detachment. Both a diagnostic procedure and the surgery itself were uncomfortable and sometimes painful. Both were also absolutely critical to the sucessful treatment of the condition; Dr. Holt seemed to me extremely skillful, and never did anything close to "manhandling." His staff also did an excellant job, going out of their way to make patients feel comfortable. I for one would far rather go through some brief pain than blindness.
