Dr. David Eugene Korber, MD

Dr Korber was my eye Dr for years, he came highly recommended. I never really liked his personality, but since my primary care said he was good I stayed. Then I had cataract surgery. I won’t go into details, horrific experience, my eyes are worse then before. When I went to get more eye glasses they commented they had never seen someone’s eyes worse after cataract surgery. I haven’t been back, I paid too much money for such poor service and results!

Had cataract surgery, see very well again, but when I went back for the follow up mentioning that there was a problem with one eyelid since the surgery he snapped at me and gave a very brief and abrupt reply before I could finish saying that it was itching terribly and I was concerned I might injure my eye by needing to relieve the itching. He was smooth and well mannered only as long as I was bragging on how well I could see now. Would not return to him for any kind of treatment or refer anyone else to him.

Dr Korber came highly recommended but I was not impressed with my first experience. I found him to be impatient, abrupt, unwilling to explain my issue, and generally unfriendly. These are my eyes I'm talking about. If someone is going to be doing surgery on them I want to be comfortable with the doctor.

I met Dr Korber when he performed cataract surgery on my dad. He did an excellent job and my dad can finally see again. I made an appointment and he was very through. I have drooping eyelids and will be fixing my eyelids so I can see better. Right now I can only see half of the words that I am reading. His staff is excellent to. Thank you dr korber??

I've been seeing Dr. Korber for 8 years. He removed cataracts in both my eyes & treats me for glaucoma as well. I was trained in visual anatomy & functioning in graduate school & can state that Dr. K. uses the latest methods & technology (e.g., since I had a retinal tear in my 30s, he uses a machine to automatically determine the thickness of my retina and, hence, the likelihood of another tear). It is true that he doesn't usually personally perform routine ops such as pressure check. Trained staff do the simple procedures. But, he & staff have been "pro all the way" with me and I'm satisfied. I have no idea why the other gentleman had such an issue. Dr. K was very conservative in my treatment & didn't remove my cataracts until my vision was obviously blurry & uncorrectable by glasses. He's got my recommendation.

My husband and I have both been patients of Dr. Korber since 1999. The first time I met Dr. Korber I thought he must be too young to be a doctor, but I was thoroughly impressed with his knowledge and professionalism. Dr. Korber has treated me for a torn retina, Lasik, and an eyelid lift. My husband who is diabetic sees Dr. Korber twice a year and has had cataract surgery on both eyes. All of our procedures were necessary and very successful. We recommended Dr. Korber to our parents and brothers and sisters, and they too have been very satisfied with Dr. Korber. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Korber and would recommend him to anyone.
