the best . nobody can be like Dr. Kroon.

I had a sudden decline in my hearing and was looking for a new doctor. He confirmed I had a significant hearing loss in one ear and recommended I get a hearing aid - a service performed in this office. I asked about surgery, but his office does not perform the surgery i needed. I had a prior surgery on that ear, and he seemed to be discouraging me from having another surgery. Luckily, I asked for and he gave me a list of surgeons. Recently, I had the surgery and my hearing has improved significanty. I won't need a hearing aid after all. I didn't find Dr. Kroon to be a warm and friendly doctor. It seemed to me that he only recommended services that could be performed by his office. He also told me I had ear wax that had to be removed (for $329). I'd never had problems with ear wax in the past. Later I found out that he told another new patient (someone I know) that she had ear wax that had to be removed. She hadn't had a problem with ear wax in the past either.

Dr. Kroon was friendly, kind and above all caring toward my son. He comforted me and his nursing staff welcomed call back questions I had. Two of my friends had a similar, excellent experience with Dr. Kroon for their child's surgery.

He has always been excellent with my son, very kind and engaging. I have full confidence in his abilities and would absolutely recommend him. He may not come off as "warm and fuzzy" regarding his bedside manner, but in my experience he has always been professional, caring and I would even say supportive when my son had to have a procedure done.

I know women have been condescended to by doctors throughout time. It has only happened to me once until seeing Dr. Kroon. I felt like it was 1950. I feel sorry for him.
