Dr. David Alan Madder, DO

Madder is homophobic and told me that he “did not approve of my lifestyle” because of his “strong Christian values.” Madder refuses hormone treatments to trans individuals and birth control to unwed women.

Very competent

Never a problem with getting an appointment but you feel like a pay check once you arrive. Dr. Madder does not seem to care about you nor does he explain things. I have been his patient for years and I am finally going to move to a different primary MD as I am fed up with him just not caring or explaining anything. He will suggest things to himself (as he mumbles out loud) and send you for tests but not explain why. Even after the tests have come in he nor his staff would ever contact me about my results and after weeks of waiting they would normally just tell me to see a specialist but never again explain why. After being seen by some of the specialists they would look at me confused and some even flat out asked why did he refer me and I never have an answer other then my pain descrition. I would go back to Dr. Madder only for him to request more blood work not explain anything and then have him direct me to the next specialist that would again not understand why I was sent to them.… The staff when you are in the office is nice enough but after being his patient for about three years I will be moving to a different primary care provider.

Dr. Madder reminds me of a friendly, old fashion doctor. He takes his time, ask the right questions, listens and answers all of my questions without trying to rush me out of the office. He also offers alternative remedies as well as the OTC drugs. A true professional and a breath of fresh air, which is hard to find now-a-days.
