Don’t waste your time with this doctor! I went in for hand and feet pain. Saw him for 5 minutes and he walked out no goodbye terrible personality we walked out in the hallway asked one of the workers is he done with us she said you can leave.ordered a bunch of tests which cost me a lot of money for nothing. I went back in 5weeks dr.Quinn said they haven’t time to read the results and to this day I still don’t know except low b 12 big deal. No diagnosis no call for either doctor no nothing. Thank god for TGH and dr Kimberly for helping me figure things. If you are in pain hurting need help don’t waste your time on these doctors or this staff. You will be disappointed.i would be nice if the doctor would call and give the results of all the tests I figure it’s not going to happen. Thanks Byron

I would not recommend what so ever. First visit i seen dr Malka he said he had to study me for i have massive white matter disease which involves migraines that act as strokes ,my rhumetologist told me I also need to see a neurologist, so I chose to see dr malka. On my second visit a lady by the name of Linda saw me . She was more focused on my husband than me. Told me go to the rhumetologist when I was explaing what I have going on . No help no advice nothing I left in tears. I decided not to return ever , for with my numb hands and vision issues and the migraines was offered no help nothing , do not waste your time wo wrong so many ways

Please see ANYONE ELSE. Dr. Malka mocked me, dismissed everything I said and spoke more to my HUSBAND about his JOB than MY symptoms. Told me with NO EXAM or TESTING that I’m “fine” and insinuated I needed a therapist for my “anxiety”. Only offered testing to “make me feel better”. I’ll get a second opinion from someone who cares to TREAT a patient and not tell them to screw off.

I went to Dr. Malka with mild facial discomfort. He spent about five minutes with me and ordered an MRI. I went back about 10 days later for the results, but instead of seeing the doctor, I was confronted by his very rude nurse practitioner. She said my brain looked okay, but that I have Trigeminal Neuralgia. "I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy," she said. "It is very painful and just gets worse and worse," she said. "There's not a lot you can do about it," she said, adding that they could prescribe Oxycodone - which I certainly will not take. I asked her to explain what Trigeminal Neuralgia is and she told me to look it up on the internet, a very unprofessional suggestion. as the internet can be notoriously wrong. Even so, I did and I was totally devastated. It is a rare, but extremely serious, life-changing condition that can become so painful that it has driven some people to suicide. I called another doctor for a second opinion. Fortunately, that doctor's assistant could hear… how terrified I was, and the doctor agreed to stay late to see me the same day. I picked up a copy of my MRI and report and went to see him. He conducted several tests and said that I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT HAVE TRIGEMINAL NEURALGIA. Instead, I have "myofacial pain with referred pain." He suggested warm, moist compresses and a physical therapist for a face massage. I cannot believe that Dr. Malka so off-handedly "diagnosed" this severe and debilitating disease without further testing and, perhaps worse, let his nurse deliver this devastating news to me in such a cruel and casual manner. And, yes, the office is tacky, half-painted, and the stuffing is coming out of at least one of the exam tables. It looks like something from a third world county. I have carefully documented in writing everything I have written in this brief review.

Terrible terrible terrible.... My loved one has been seeing this so-called doctor for 2 years and just a week ago I asked what kind of dementia do you believe he has and he stated well I don't know I think it's Alzheimer's really??? I then asked him what does the MRI indicate?? he stated it looks fine it looks like a normal scan of a 52 year old really???????? the so-called doctor gave him some antidepressants and said he'll be fine really????? oh yeah I asked him about the blood work and he stated it looks fine but I'll have to look it over a little bit more thoroughly.... Really???? OMG

While the reception staff at The Malka Institute were awesome, the PA that sees patients has no bedside manor at all. She was completely unprepared for my visit, did not listen to a word I said, and did little other then recommend more tests. The PA tried to make the diagnosis for me and I would have had better luck throwing a dart at a board. She even said I would need to see a Neurologist for my symptoms. I would rate the Dr. but I didn't even get to see him other then for a few minutes at my first visit.

Very unprofessional. Accepts cash or check only for co-pays. Appears to be a ‘pill mill’.

I have been searching for a competent Dr. to help me with my pain and symptoms, this Man is not one of them. I initially called and expressed my concerns about the negative reviews he was given as I was recommended to him. I did not have the emotional strength to see another neurologist that was dismissive. The office staff assured me not to believe everything I read on the reviews and that he was a good Dr. I waited and hour and a half after my scheduled appointment time. When I was finally seen my assessment was sub-par to say the least. He blew through my previous reports and medical documentation and refused to look at my MRI images. “It’s probably just stress.” He minimized my previous diagnosis and actually told me that the condition I was concerned about was not noted on my reports. If he actually took the time to thoroughly read what I provided he would have seen what I was referring to. Please do not let this man drain you of time, emotion, and money. This practice is a… revolving door to collect.

I needed to get copies of my records and his staff was so rude over the phone and in person. I called on a Tuesday was told my records would be ready by Thursday. When I called on Thursday to find out about picking up my records I was told the girl who handled that was out sick and they wouldn't be able to have it ready until the following Monday/Tuesday because there was nobody there who could make copies. I called on Friday to see if I could get them to move along and the answer I got was that they were short handed and my records would be ready Monday/Tuesday. On Monday they called me to tell me that my records would be ready after 10am on Tuesday and the charge would be $9.00. Yes, that's right I had to pay to get copies of my own records. When I picked up my records on Tuesday the whole staff was rude. If you don't like your job, get another one and don't be rude to your patients.
