Dr. David B Mcdonald, MD

Dr. McDonald is as slow as molasses in the winter time. I arrived at 1030 for my 1050 appointment. Come 1150, the Dr. still haden't seen me. To make matters worse, this was a fasting appointment. I inquired about having my blood drawn and submitting a urine sample when I first arrived since those things are done separately, but that request was promptly denied. Instead, I sat there for an hour and 20 minutes starving and holding my pee. It was at this point that I finally walked out. Who has someone fasting until noon anyhow? In terms of McDonald's actual doctoring skills, who knows? One thing I do know though is that they would have charged me if I was late. Funny how that isn't a two way street.

Dr. McDonald has always been responsive to my concerns and has resolved my issue or referred me to the best doctors in the field that I needed. I have the utmost confidence in his ability as a physician.

I've seen Dr McDonald for 20-25 years. He has been professional and thorough on all my visits and I like him very much. His previous receptionist, Sharon, was exceptionally efficient and her records were always accurate. I miss her thoroughness. I am changing PCPs because it has become increasingly problematic to travel 100 mi r/t to see Dr McDonald. I have found a doctor 19 mi from my home.. I will miss Dr McDonald and I hope my new physician is as likeable.
