I was referred to Tucson ENT for a hearing test for my 2 year old daughter. I was told I would be called within a week to get scheduled, I never heard from anyone. I called Tucson ENT 3 times over a six week span leaving voicemails to get scheduled. Never heard from anyone. I randomly received a call today from someone almost two months later and told the associate no thanks. I informed her that I’ve attempted to call several times and no one got back to me, that I was no longer interested in scheduling, but thanks anyways. She didn’t apologize, just hung up on me. As a referral coordinator for another office, this is poor practice. It shouldn’t take two months to call someone and get scheduled. And if a patient voices a concern, acknowledge them and apologize for the miscommunication.

I'd rather wait 1-2 hrs to see the pediatric specialist than to wait 3 months to get in ! His nurse was very compassionate and caring. I would not hesitate recommending Dr. Parry he is #1 in our family.

My teen-aged son asked to see an ENT due to intermittent problems with hearing, ear pain, congestion, and proprioception. We waited an hour and twenty minutes for the appointment and was in the presence of the doctor for less than ten minutes. He told my son that his symptoms were all due to anxiety and stress and that because his symptoms were intermittent, there was no way to test for them. He also ridiculed him because my son is an asthmatic athlete who competes at a very high level. He told him that patients who have medical problems can't do that. He ignored most of the history that I wrote on the forms, never acknowledged the five medications that my son takes, and did a very cursory exam that did not involve the nose at all. He had him take a "hearing test" which was the same screening test that the schools do for free. The only suggestion he had was for my son to purchase "a one dollar bite guard". He never took the time to discover that my son is a mouth breather who… wears a retainer at night and probably is unable to grind his teeth because he wouldn't be able to breathe if he did so. I priced over-the-counter bite guards which ranged in price from $20 to $40 and decided not to purchase one since I have no confidence that this doctor knows what he is doing. He wasted our time and was able to demean an adolescent, but is apparently unable to treat athletes with allergies and asthma whose symptoms are intermittent but problematic to the patient.

I hate doctor's who cushion or fluff information. When it came to determining what the lump was in my child's throat, Dr. Parry gave it to us straight. There were several possibilities but he leaned more toward one. After the CT scan, his initial hunch was dead on. His confidence in removing the cyst put us at ease a bit. We were still terrified that our child was having a surgery at 4 years old but Dr. Parry took care of her. The surgery was quick. Our little one was running around playing the next day like nothing happened. With his post op instructions on the care of her incision, her scar is hardly noticeable. She is happy and healthy today. There were no complications. It's been a year and four months since her surgery. His office wait is lengthy at times and visits with him are quick. As mentioned, he gets straight to the point. Despite the total length of time visiting with him, he has done an excellent job with our child. I would recommend Dr. Parry to any child needing his… services.
