Dr. David Glenn Sexton, MD

DR SEXTON is a terrible doctor! He doesnt believe in the condition RCPD (inability to burp). Not only does this make him extremely ignorant... but also closed-minded and unable to keep up with advancing medical science and its breakthroughs. Older physicians (he's almost 70 years old) tend to be like this. Dr Sexton is also condescending, unprofessional, and lacks compassion & basic human empathy. He doesnt take the time to truly listen to your concerns. And if he doesnt understand them (because he hasnt kept up-to-date on advancing science and newly-discovered modern medical conditions such as RCPD) then he simply writes them off as other simpler conditions that he can better relate to like 'food allergies'. He is ignorant, naive, and grossly incompetent as a physician.

I find many people only leave reviews when they want to be negative or when they had a negative experience. I typically only leave reviews when I have a great experience. I searched before deciding where I wanted to take my daughter for her nosebleeds, snoring and tonsil issues. I chose this place and she was set an appt. with Dr Sexton. I was truly impressed by how well ran this Drs office is! The lady in front was so sweet. That matters a lot to me. I don’t go to Drs offices where the front desk is rude. Period. And it happens so often but I was happy with the ladies here. We sat in the lobby maybe around 5 mins as I filled out the new patient paperwork. Then, the nurse who took us back to the room was so nice and friendly as well. We were in the room waiting to see the doc not even 2 mins. My daughter, who is 10, doesn’t talk much or show a lot of emotions but when we left she told me how much she liked the doctor. I really think she liked how friendly he was but she also liked… that he was calm and laid back. He matched her personality I believe. I am glad he made her feel comfortable! It was obvious to me he is also knowledgeable and seems really caring too. He didn’t rush us at all and he let me ramble like I sometimes do(I’m always anxious at Drs offices)without showing any amount of annoyance. He was thorough by checking her and then sent her for an X-ray in his office. That also only took about 2 mins. He just wanted to rule out a sinus infection. After viewing the X-rays, he gave his opinion and let me decide what I felt was best for her. I opted for tonsillectomy. Once he left us, we met with the lady who schedules the surgeries and she is a doll! I was really just impressed with how smoothly the entire visit was. As I mentioned, Drs offices make me anxious for some reason. Here, they make you feel welcome and it was a nice environment. The nurse said Dr Sexton was really easy to work for. She said he is calm all the time and never gets torn up over anything. I wish someone could say that about me! Lol! I am considering seeing this Dr myself after I get all my kids well. I trust him completely with my daughter during surgery. My son had his tonsils removed 12 years ago and it went well. I still think I’d be just a little nervous about my daughters surgery though if I didn’t like this Dr so much. I like knowing an intelligent but easy going doctor will be working on my most precious of all gifts.

The bedside manner and attitude of Dr. Sexton was among the worst I've ever experienced. I would never return to this practice.

I would avoid this doctor if I were searching for an ENT. He did not seem to care about the problem I was having. He seemed more concerned that I was there to seek litigation. I was hoping that I could get some help for my condition rather than get treated very poorly. The staff was not courteous either.

Has a pleasant manner and really talks to a person like they are not stupid or taking up his time. Very thorough in his work.

i have 5 doctors i see regularly and he is the best.great bedside manner.a true gentleman too. jokes with you but tells what you need seriously. i cant tell you enough this dr. is.
