Dr. David Edward Sternberg, MD

I have been seeing Dr. Sternberg for over five years now and I am so happy I found him as a doctor because he has really helped me in my road to recovery. I really trust him and enjoy every appointment we’ve ever had. He has always believed in me and i appreciate that so much about him. If you or anyone you know needs a doctor who specializes in addiction and recovery, i highly recommend him to you!

Dr. Sternberg understands the importance of his place in our life and doesn’t take that lightly. Night or day… weekends or vacations- he will always be there for you. In the chaos of my life, I always find peace and calm with him. It’s so assuring to know that when I open up about things that are troubling me, I’m speaking to that person who has always helped me find a way out of that darkness and into a place of seeing light. I have happily been a client of Dr. Sternberg’s for over two years now. After moving to this area, I didn’t t look up reviews, I actually just chose him because his last name sounded similar to my previous psychiatrist’s name. When I reached out to schedule an appointment with him it did take some time before we met. If he doesn’t respond to your email or call you back right away, call again and again until you do get him. Don’t let that discourage you. He is worth the time and patience ??. Once I became a client of his I have never had to wait. He’s most… likely talking to his clients. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve reached out to him outside of our scheduled time and he’s helped me- every single time he’s never charged me a penny. He’s a true gift to anyone who knows him.

I have been a client of Dr. Sternberg for over 6 years. He is always available to me if needed, he is a great listener, he will try to get you in as soon as possible, he is tentive and very personable. He is open to new age medication as well as Western medicine. I wouldnt go to anyone else!

I have been a patient of Dr sternberg for almost 10 years. He is so much more than a doctor... he is a friend and does not judge. No matter what.... Without him I would not be alive today. I am so blessed to have met this man. He was with me in the darkest of dark and continues to be with me in the light! I have been OFF of suboxone for a while now with the help of his wonderful man!! I've been seeing Dr. Sternberg for several years. He has from day one treated me with the utmost respect. He's become like a friend to me. I can trust him with anything. He is very caring and compassionate, and always asks about my family, grandkids, etc. And he knows his stuff. Very knowledgeable. So much so, that I would trust him with my life. He knows medicines and interactions and all the medical and psychological stuff. But beyond that, He's concerned and helpful. His goal is to HELP! And that he has done with kindness and compassion for me with each visit. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Dr. David Sternberg!

Two years ago I was at a very dark part in my life and lost my will to live. A family member encouraged me to see Dr. Sternberg. In time I was able to improve my overall mental and physical health and was able to work again. His compassionate treatment plan has allowed me to keep my family together and recognize the dangers of substance abuse. Dr. Sternberg continues to support me in the ongoing process of recovery. Without his compassionate care and ongoing treatment I would not be here today. He has helped me to be positive and thankful for each day that we have.

i have been a patient of Dr sternberg for almost a decade as a combat disabled vet. with combat wounds physically and mentally... the VA has many times let me down, doctor sternberg was always there and it was not a issue about money, he was there and helped me as a person and ex SGT in the 82nd airborne... prob savin my life. i recommend him and would send my own children if needed to him. i cant say enough good things about him. very straight forward and he knows what is going on almost before u do.

i have been a patient with doctor sternberg over 8 years and am a combat disabled veteran. where the va has failed me and others dr sternberg was there and instead of being addicted to opiates because of multiple service connected injuries including brain injury back surgeries and knee surgeries as well as ptsd and other anxiety combat fatique, if not for him i would be probably a statistic, i recommend him highly. I saw Dr. Sternberg for 6 years until I moved to California, otherwise I would still be seeing him today. His care and services enabled me to recover from a horrible opioid addiction. I am quite sure I would not be here today if it were not for Dr. Sternberg. I was in a very dark and depressed state, and over the years he helped me change my outlook on my life and start making changes to better myself. During this time I also was encouraged and motivated to work on my health in other ways, and I also lost 125 lbs. I consider Dr. Sternberg a friend, and I would highly recommend him.
