very thorough. Takes his time and answered all my questions. Pleased with my decision to change my rheumatoid doctor to him.

I especially appreciate Dr. Wannalista for takes his time and truly listen to my concerns and issues. He didn't make me feel like a number... I was definitely a patient.

easy to see him, as I learned no one goes there. dirty office. fighting with other drs, nurses tell me stay away in the same office and had me go to another dr, close and better,

first I must say I'm angry with my family physicians. My family physicians told me quote you need a Rheumatologist and quote he did not give me the name of anybody this is something I have to take up with my family physician apparently there to arthritis doctors in the Cumberland County area I looked up this one and found his name and I went to his office after watching him run his hands through his hair for 5 minutes I became a really disgusted because he didn't pay any attention to me or anything about my complaints as a former 3 patient in Philadelphia you no longer wanted to drive up to Philadelphia I guess I expected the same care for this I'm sorry its my fault and I won't return to this doctor I've heard good things about another doctor in my mind that I will try that position next

if he rubbed his hair any more i would vomit and he took a call and ignored me. i didnt get to ask questions(or he couldnt answer them) . i still have no answers. im new, are there any good drs for arthritis. i dont care about waiting , i just want to be listened too at my visit

I recently had my first appointment with Dr. Wanalista, and I am certainly glad I did not rely on the previous reviews when making my decision to see him. He was very personable, caring, courteous, and professional. I have not had my follow-up appointment yet but I am sure he will come up with an accurate diagnosis and care plan for me.

DR. Wanalista is very black and white. He doesnt waste time with chatting gets right down to business. He was the first Dr to actually diagnose me correctly. He can be a bit laid back and blunt. I just believe this is his natural personality. Im ok with this for now at least, as I feel he has been accurate and I share a similar personality. I do feel he could explain diagnosis' and treatment options more, and he does tend to discourage researching. I havent decided if this is because he wants you to avoid all the negative and focus on your own personal care/journey or if he doesnt want you to question his authority. He is always prompt. I ve been told by several other docs that "hes the best in the area by far"and "you either love him or hate his demeanor". Ive had a few appts already and Im comfortable with the care given until this point. I will continue to ask questions and do my own research as I see fit. He could have showed a bit more empathy as he is very clinical and matter of… fact.

Dr. Wanalista's overall ratings about his bedside manner and lack of empathy towards his patients is duly noted. It is very difficult to get his assistant (Sarah) to return calls. The doctor and his staff seem to resent it when you ask questions about certain medications and/or bad side effects. They prefer a compliant patient who does not "think" too much. Would not recommend this doctor and/or his staff.

was very disrespectful of my family, they wanted to understand my condition,. he said, \'do you want to be dead": i swiched accross the street. i had all questions answered and my family is welcome. i feel better with my new medicine now

all he did was adjust his pants, speak of his kid, and play with his hair. i actually left. he is soooo full of himself, its unreal, if you think he is good, definetly try others . they are real docs
