Dr. Weimer earned his M.D. Degree from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in 2002. While in medical school he was elected into prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He completed his orthopaedic residency training at Wayne State University/Detroit Medical Center, Detroit, MI. in 2007. This was followed by a fellowship in Adult Reconstruction at RUSH University Medical Center, Chicago, IL. and Central DuPage Hospital, Winfield, IL. There he was trained in all aspects of hip …and knee revision surgery as well as minimally invasive surgical techniques.
Dr. Weimer is Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, the Mid-America Orthopaedic Association, and the Mahoning Valley Medical Society. Dr. Weimer is on staff at Northside Medical Center, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown, OH. and at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Boardman, OH.
