Dr. Peters is amazing! I had a total hip replacement on both my left and right hip five months apart. I suffered all my life with extreme hip pain and deformed hips from congenital hip dysplasia. Dr. Peters was the first doctor to really listen to me and help me come up with a plan. When that plan didn't work, surgery was absolutely the best option and I'm so glad I had both surgeries, and I am so glad that I had Dr. Peters!

Dr. Peters performed a total hip replacement on me and I couldn't be more pleased with the outcome. He was receptive to all my questions, kept me informed about the procedure and what to expect. His bedside manner is outstanding. I have recommended him to everyone that asks. I only gave 4 stars because I found out recently that in addition to being billed for the xrays taken in his office and to have the radiologist read them (totally acceptable), I was also billed for his rent of office space in the hospital. Because of that, I cancelled my follow up appointment. When I called the billing department to question the bill for specialized room fee, I was told that essentially, I am being billed to help pay for doctor Peters to rent the office he has at Salem Regional Hospital. That is just wrong.

I had total hip surgery. My pain was completely gone. When I opened the door at home for the therapist without a walker or cane she couldn’t believe I was the patient! Why did I wait!? Dr Peters is amazing and I was completely satisfied. The staff at Salem Hospital were wonderful and very attentive.

Just had total hip replacement surgery Monday, today, Friday I am walking with only a cane and pain-free. Had last pain pill 8 hours ago. This is the closest thing I have seen to a miracle for a long time. Thank you, Dr. Peters! Judy Brown. RN

Dr. Peters performed a complete hip replacement on my hip 7 days ago. Surgery went EXACTLY as I was told it would. Went home the next day, stopped taking pain meds 2 days later, walking with walker and doing exercises with home therapist. Going back to work week after next. A five star rating doesn't even come close !! Try 100 stars plus maybe ?? Bedside manner ?? Try 100 plus as well !!

I met him in the emergency dept when I had to have my wrist reset from a car accident. He was pleasant and polite. Worked diligently and didn't seem to mind that I was keeping him from getting a good nights rest. Thank you Dr Peters.
