Dr. David Selwin Woo, MD

I already wrote a review. I do not see it posted yet. It was very truthful and direct.

Dr Woo is a personable dedicated urologist who expresses great concern for me as his patient. I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs a Urologist.

I had a prostate issue for way too long trusting my treatment to a P.A. at NGPG. I was upset and done with this guy having no change in my health with his regiment of treatment given to me by this incompetent man. Dr Woo immediately changed my antibiotic and the duration of the treatment which cured 2 years of pain and mistreatment. I had been given the WRONG antibiotic and for not for a long enough duration to get at the infection in my prostate by this PA. Furthermore, once I got under his guidance after the treatment period, he was watching my prostate score very closely (Thank goodness!) The PSA score bumped-up quite a bit so he performed a biopsy. This biopsy was positive for cancer, but at a quite minimal amount. After some time, it jumped again (Leaped to 10.24), and it was time to get the prostate out or deal with cancer. I had the prostatectomy surgery and the resulting PSA a month after my surgery was "undetectable." We got it out in time! Had I weathered it out with… the incompetent doctor at NGPG I could be facing Chemo for a cancer that was detected and removed by a most competent physician. Dr Woo's competence saved my life.

I went to see Dr. Woo after hearing about glowing recommendations from patients of my wife, who is a medical-surgical nurse at an unrelated facility. After diagnosing me with prostate cancer, Dr. Woo performed radical robotic surgery. Due to my internal situation, it was a difficult procedure and kept me on the operating table for 5 hours. It speaks highly for Dr. Woo and his diagnostic and surgical skills that I was able to go home just 24 hours after the operation, am now cancer-free, and the surgery scars are almost invisible. My wife's clients were right in praising Dr. Woo's care and professionalism.

Dr Woo happily takes your money but provides lousy care in return. This is a poorly run practice where the doctors only care about the money.

Was seen promptly. Everything very professional. Liked Dr. Woo.

Dr. Woo, has been my doctor for the past year. He is a very patient, caring, understanding, professional, respectful, he sits down to listens to your concerns, explains anything you don’t understand, he’s always available and he’s never rushed me out of the office and he’s always punctual and doesn’t keep you waiting. He really values his patience and you leave his office feeling valued.

I have several doctors for various medical needs. Dr. Woo is one of my favorites! He is kind, he listens, is knowledgeable, and sensitive to your needs. Exactly what you want as a doctor!

Best Dr I have had to have a real conversation with me about my condition. Gave me options. Did a good job with TURP . I felt he really cared. I highly recommend Dr Woo.

Dr Woo is as good as they get. He goes over reports and let's you know what is going on. I highly recommend him.
