Thorough and compassionate

I was seeing this doctor for several years many years ago. She has a very nice personality but very poor assessment skills. I won't go into details of my situation but she ordered a surgery that was absolutely unnecessary! I suffered great pain with recovery and found that the organ she removed was perfectly healthy. There are so many good GYN's out there and I would never recommend this one!

She is more than my ob-gyn Doctor and follows thru to be sure I am on proper meds and tests

I would never recommend Dr. Wooten to any woman with a GYN problem. I went to her at my first symptom of bleeding, and she waited months before I had to request a biopsy and a D and C. The biopsy was diagnosed as uterine cancer. She then wanted me to wait a month before doing surgery. I went into Boston for another opinion and was told I needed surgery immediately as it was Stage 4. This doctor could not believe how long Dr. Wooten had put off testing after going to her a few times with these symptoms. He did surgery that week and the cancer had spread. This is why I would never refer anyone to her.

I have been seeing Dr. Wooten for about 20 years and would follow her to the ends of the world. She is that good.

Year after year, Dr. Wooten is the only doctor I visit where my blood pressure is normal and I don't get that "white coat" syndrome. She's amazing!
