Has no patient side manners and compassion

Dr Debra Somers has poor business practices and completely wasted my time. I was a new patient looking forward to my appointment, but most importantly I took off time from work to see her. She canceled all her appointments on my scheduled day—no notice—reinstated the appointments—except for mine—so when I arrived they had no idea who I was!! No apology from anyone at all! Just a “theres nothing we can do!” Dr somers refused to even show her face and I was told that her new patients come first. Well, what am I???? Never will I use this doctor or the Elkins Park Temple office where she practices. There are far better doctors who will value their patients time and provide better service than this joke.

She's been my dr. for 16yrs. and I have a delicate situation..she's always been there for me..thank god for dr.somers!!!!!!

This is the doctor every woman needs. She really has the patient's best interest at heart. She is a real patient's advocate who refuses to let any stone unturned when it comes to her patient's wellbeing.

I would absolutely not recommend treating with Dr. Debra Somers at Temple Gyno. She was rushing the entire time and quite frankly rude. I felt she was also very abrupt, judgmental and condescending. I tried to establish new care with Temple gyno because it was convenient; however, that was a mistake. I spoke to several other individuals who also treated at Temple Health and they honestly had similar experiences. I truly hope she sees this review and reconsiders her attitude so that it will allow future patients to feel more comfortable. Further, she could use some sensitivity training in my opinion. As a gynecologist, people are coming to you being open and do not like feeling like they are just another number. Try calling them by their name, Dr. Somers, instead of saying “you, come here.”

She is an excellent doctor. Tells you the truth. That is just how I would be if I were a doctor. Gives you the amount of time you need. Doesn't rush you out of her office.

My wife is the CEO of a large company. She is one tough lady when need be. After seeing Dr Somers, she came home very upset. She said the doctor was rude, didn't listen to her and was one miserable lady. My wife will be looking for a new GYN.

i have nothing but good things to say about this doctor.she tells you how it is and I like that,will continue to see her
