Dr. Dennis Steven Pail, MD

Our relationship started out great. Dr. Pail listened and spent an appropriate amount of time with me in the beginning. This is my fourth year with him and I will be seeking a new doctor. He no longer has the time, doesn’t listen anymore and barley let’s you finish what you want to say/ask. Does everything through his nurse(medical technologist) who is very hard to understand and has zero time for you. Dr. Pail actually has criticized my job. I couldn’t believe it. Unprofessional! I wanted to see a gastro and he had me go a couple of other places first only to send me to a gastro in the end. You can find someone better.

In mid Dec of 2018, I took my mother to Dr Pail. She is a Snow bird from RI. She is 90 . He took a kind interest in my mom and all I had to say.. Its very difficult for a doctor to just 'jump in' and take over , when the patient has a complicated medical past. He spent a good 15 minutes with us. He was very helpful. I gave him a 5 out of 5 because he deserves it.. I pray we don't need him for anything serious in the next 5 months, but if we do, I have faith in him...

I have seen Dr. Pail for over a year. My wait time is only a few minutes. He always listens to me. He makes me feel like I am important. His nurse Sylvia is terrific. She calls you with your test results. Doesn’t matter if they are good or bad. I really like this team a lot. His office staff is very friendly also. If your looking for a doctor who really cares check out Dr.Pail.

Excellent physician. Active listener. Does not "talk down" to you. Shows respect for me as an educated person. His Nurse, Sylvia, is awesome. They both take good care of me.

Dr Pail started our relationship very nicely. But, eventually things started to go south. Dr. Pail ignores patient rights. He does not ask but only tells (through his nurse only). He wanted to refer me to a Pulmonologist for a problem I had but I chose to see an ENT-matter solved.

I went for a annual physical exam and was in and out in 10 minutes, most of that time was waiting for him. He did not seem to have time to answer my questions and did not look at me when he did answer. He only listened to my heart and checked my ears and nose, that was the complete physical. I recently moved from another state and this is not how a physical was performed there. Will be looking for a different doctor.

Dr. Pail (((( SAVED)))))) my husband's life!!!!! ... when two VA hospital's and head of Brown Univ. Med. school dir. of dermatology missed the signs and the tumor ...His taking a biopsy and quickly sending it out and his referring him to Dr. Dunn !! They caught a very lethal Cancer, called Merkle cell carcinoma ...And yes I am happy his front office staff were pushy we thought their repeated calls to go to Dr. Dunn (Dermatologist) could have been just a basal cell , When in fact people had died within days of this form of cancer ...They were insistent we get right over to their Cattlemen Rd. Office!.... I continue to recommend him to everyone needing a good and cautious doctor !!!!!!!! We love his nurse Sylvia also !!!!!! Forget those concierge doctors at $8,000.00 a year ! Since my husband's cancer , Dr . Pail's staff calls us to say come in, we want to follow up ,we haven't seen your husband in awhile ...This cancer can travel through the lymphatic system...… very serious ..... Great Doctor !! Thank God for his referrals also !!!!

Quick to refer, wants to prescribe and move you on your way. To be fair, his medical group may set these parameters.

very quick to refer out - when I went to the specialists they didn't understand why a primary doctor could not handle such simple issues. I had to find another primary, who took care of all!!
