Dr. Derek Brian Wu, MD

Dr. Derek Wu is an otolaryngology-head and neck surgery specialist who completed his medical education at Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University. He furthered his training with a residency at University Hospital of Brooklyn, building expertise in conditions affecting the ears, nose, throat, and neck region. With 11 years of clinical experience, Dr. Wu brings established knowledge to treating both routine and complex ENT conditions.

Dr. Wu practices at Kaiser Permanente locations in Downey, California, and maintains additional practice presence in Chicago, Illinois. He specializes in treating sinusitis and chronic sinusitis, helping patients find relief from persistent nasal and sinus inflammation. Dr. Wu also manages tonsillitis cases and performs pathology tests to aid in accurate diagnosis. His surgical capabilities include performing pathology procedures and providing sedation services when needed for patient comfort during treatments.
