Dr. Devon Ammon Nelson, MD

Dr. Nelson is a very friendly doctor that spends time with you. I've had to have several joint surgeries knees and shoulders and he has done them all. My only knock is promptness but I would guess that is because he takes time to spend with other patients. I would highly recommend him if you have knee or shoulder problems. He doesn't rush to surgery he try physical therapy first most of the time. But if you have to have surgery you could not ask for a better doctor.

While Dr. Nelson did very well on the acl surgery his office visits were terrible. We barely had time to ask him one question as he was walking out the door before we had to listen to him chat up another office staff about his real estate/homebuilding for the next 15 minutes. He finally glanced back into our room & saw us still waiting & sent a nurse to fetch us a brace then took off leaving us with unanswered questions!
