Front office staff used said it is "law" that a step parent cannot schedule appointments, which is completely untrue in Illinois or any other state. Then "escalated" a scheduling issue to the MD herself whom said to deny care. A secretary is playing with a teenagers life...never see this person or practice.

She a baddie but she snitches

Wanting to throw meds our way and not listen to underlying issues to help resolve them. Just pop a pill to resolve a growing developing child instead of help him and others understand him and his needs. If your looking for a pill pusher see her. Never go back

Dr Woods is a wonder, she explains everything clearly in terms that you can understand. She is very sympathetic. She follows up when you call or if you start a new medication. I would recommender her to anyone in need.

Dr. Woods is great. I have been going to her for years. She is caring, encouraging, listens, and is very helpful.

gives children antidepressants without accurate conseridration of alternatives. Take's a quick fix "medicate your kid approach" rather then solving the problem by "safer" means. I'm pretty sure an eight year old child does not need to be on high dose physchiatric drugs.

Although she may not be extreemly talkitive and keeps to her self, I know she is good at what she's doing, she put up with multipul visits each for a med change and was concerned when I told her the side effects I was having. I could just be a lucky one but I I don't understand the low low rating

This Dr., should be brought up before theBoard of Psychiatrist, she is a disgrace to that profession. She is NOT thorough,she does NOT follow up with the concerns of parents and has done an injustice to my Grandson. She is unprofessional and sneaky and if you are thinking of going to her, you BETTER be careful, she will end up destroying everything you fight for.

A pleasant, easy going and a multi-tasker e.g. because of the limited appointment time (20minutes) she writes prescriptions while consulting with the patient and doing both efficiently. even though her organisation has therapists, she will communicate with outside therapists after permission from the patient is obtained. she returns phone calls within a day. because doctors like her are in high demand, appointments get booked quickly (not at your convenience). good luck!
