Dr. Doreen Formosan Lee, MD

Dr. Lee provided hospital & follow up care for my husband after Septic Shock recently. She and Dr. Mc Call along w/ excellent ICU staff saved his life. She listens to the patient, and checks medical details. Her quick actions/treatments saves lives and prevents additional complications! An excellent doctor that cares about patients and family members!!

Saw Dr. lee for cdiff. she looked at my MRI and said my small intestines were removed. her staff hung up on me during a conversation and was very unethical . my visits have been a fight to get an infusion as ordered by a gastro Dr. told me it was approved and then told me they could not get the medication and could not find the paperwork for it. my experience with Dr. lee and the crummy staff has been frustrating. I still have cdiff for over a year and now I'm starting over due to her stupidity and negligence of her and her staff. do not make the mistake I did with this unprofessional so called dr. go somewhere else. after a visit with another specialist, I still have my small intestines. I was referred to Dr. Lee by another physician for a lung infection. I live out of town and had to travel to Atlanta to see her. Dr. Lee was inconsistent in her instruction for treatment from visit to visit. She could not remember the name of the physician who referred me to her and that she was supposed to be consulting with on my treatment. She was impossible to reach b phone with questions or updates when I or doctors also involved in my case tried to reach out to her. On visits to her office, more than once she advised she would further review recent tests, consulting with the referring physician and get back in touch with me by a given date. Each time I never heard back from her. After several severe reaction to the prescribed medication she had ordered I called her office to inform her of this and seek further instruction. I never received any response or advice as to what to do next. She (or one of her assistants) called to say the treatment would be extended for several… more months but no medicine or lab orders were ever issued by her to do this. At this time I am completely without a doctor to help treat this illness but would advise others to be extremely careful about trusting their care to this doctor.
