Dr. Douglas Kent Anderson, MD

I’m not one to write reviews, but my experience here made me want to find the Gods of Yelp and bring their wrath upon this man. My appointment was at 9am for allergy testing, that of which was quite urgent after I’d been getting severe hives for the past week. I’d previously alterted the staff that I had to be at my job at 10:30. They assured me I’d be out of their office by 10:15 at the latest. But alas, after being taken back to Dr. Anderson’s room at 9 and waiting for 50 minutes without any signs of life or staff checking in, I decided to make my way back to the receptionist desk to see what was going on. I asked the receptionist, jokingly, if he’d [Dr. Anderson] forgotten about me, and in return she looked me up and down and offered a cold, “Would you just like to reschedule, then?” I was quaking in my boots; she was NOT joking around. Then, in an M. Night Shyamalan plot twist of the century, the man himself - Dr. Anderson - appeared to my left. Had he been there the whole time?… Who’s to say? I sat as he cracked jokes with another receptionist on the other side of the desk, laughing with his wicked grin, for a good five minutes or so. He then turned, met my eyes with a cold stare that could gave brought down the Mongolian Empire, and pushed past me towards the room I’d been waiting in. The time was 10 o’clock AM, sharp. As he entered the cold and bitter room where I’d been captive for 50 minutes that I’ll never get back, his persona carrying with him what must be the kiss of death, I too pushed through a door of my own. Physically, yes, it was the door to the waiting area as I briskly exited his office with metaphorical tears in my eyes. Mentally, though, it was opening the door to a strong and desolate challenge ahead of me. Dr. Anderson had indeed bested me this time, but I wouldn’t rest until I brought my revenge upon his establishment through a scathing review, which brings us to this here story. The moral of this tale: Dr. Anderson is a man whom is also a doctor that does not deserve your time or money. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk.

i went to dr Anderson for a sinus infection he prescribed an antibiotic and nose spray and all is well. I waited quite awhile to see him. He seemed hurried and didn't listen to what I had to say. I think as a Dr he is ok but don't expect to have him listen to your concerns needs as a patient

Left me with a hole in my septum. Do not recommend this "doctor".

Always had to see his PA. After seeing him for months with horrible pain and many pain meds of different types I decided to see a new ENT. Was told about a surgery that probably won't help because he didn't know what was the cause of pain after CT Scans and many appointments. I felt like they were milking the insurance companies. Also, one of the main nurses was on her phone taking a personal call and swearing every other word while I waited in the waiting room for 30+ minutes. Not professional at all.

End result was a good septoplasty. Little to no direct communcation with Anderson. All through PA or office staff. Didn't think pain management was handled well, drugs resulted in bad side effects but was told to continue to take them despite that and given more drugs that resulted in more side effects. Very helpful dealing with insurance and processing paper work.Not impressed with alllergy care. Little communication about procedures until they were about to begin or had begun. Saw the doc for <10 mins over ~10 office visits. Five requests to speak to the doctor directly resulted in 5 refusals. Finally was offered to make a medical appointment to see him, not going to pay to discuss service and communication. Found office manager quite rude.
