Very thoughtful. Takes time to be sure you understand your illness and all instructions

Doctor is Awesome. Very diligent. He has awesome bedside manner. He shows compassion to patients who might be very confused and scared about a very new diagnosis. I reluctantly went to his office after he was referred by my Cardiologist because upon making my first appointment And having to deal with the RUDE staff just over the phone I was completely turned off. They show no compassion and act as if they are annoyed if you have any questions. There tone of voice is not inviting at all. It gets worse in person. I have delt with maybe 2 people on his staff other than the doctors that were pleasant. If the doctor wasn’t so Awesome I would not continue to be a patient there. I really hope he reads his reviews and makes changes according because he is a really good doctor.

Atrocious patient support. Impossible to get through on the phone. Call back once per day just before they close the phones so it is impossible to call them back.

After a visit with Dr. Isenstein, I understood much more about my conditions (COPD and apnea) than I did before. He sees what other doctors miss and can explain it so I understand. His medical assistant in the Lawrenceville office, however, only returns calls once a day and makes it impossible to get through. I have not been able to get her to get a pre-approval from my insurance company for a week. When I went to the office to see if she would take care of it while I wait, she flew into a rage and went into attack mode blaming me, the doctor, the insurance and the "million phone calls" she needs to make for the fact that I haven't gotten my medication.
