No respect for patients time. They called and rescheduled night before. Was first patient there when opened for new appointment sat there while 6 others got scene and was told they were more important cause they were fitting us in... They scheduled the appointment for us glad my time is so important to them... Will never return.. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere

Doctor Kress and his assistants are great and provide adequate treatment after appointments however I have a horrible outbreak on my foot and my appointment was a few weeks away so we called and requested ointment and we were told to use the MyUPMC app and send a picture before receiving a prescription. fine right? No The my upmc app didn’t work so we requested them call back they did i answered and seconds later the call was ended I have had severe weeping eczema for a few years and it is extremely upsetting that the office provides no help with using my upmc app I understand completely to prescribe the right ointment they need to see a picture but it’s pretty hard when the app doesn’t work and when they call u back decide to hang up a few seconds later. Also was prescribed dupixent and was told that I would see incredible results 8 months on it it and I quit it because of severe joint stiffness which doctor kress said I would need to see a rheumatologist but just 3 days after… quitting dupxient joint stiffness went away other then that doctor kress and his staff are great and have provided doxepin and attarax which seems to help a little with the itching but contacting them is impossible

We were there for our daughter when he instantaneously checked me in and checked out an issue I was having with my own skin. It's been a while since I've felt like any physician has gone out of their way like this to help me.

Dr Kress was my youngest son dermatologist for 20 years. Since my son was 3 years old and up till my son graduated college. Dr Kress s an excellent doctor and really cares for his patients.

We wait for 45 minutes to see him, but he spent less than one minute and left.

Our family had a very difficult 2 months with family illness out of State. My daughter forgot to schedule her appt. She needed to refill her meds and was denied until she could see the Dr assist. which was 3 weeks away. (First available date given by receptionist. )Asked Dr to fill script until her scheduled date and he denied. We have never missed an appt before. It felt like he was punishing us. The staff was very haughty! Made an appt with another practice! Do not recommend this practice!

My daughter has been seeing this Dr's office for the past approximately 6 years for extreme ecxema. About 6 months ago took her in and was given samples and not a perscription. WHen the samples ran out, I called for a perscription. It's the office policy to not refill perscriptions more than 6 months since the last date of office visit. Because I was unable to get her into another dermatologist, I had to take their appointment for a "followup." At the appointment, I gave them my co-payment and waited to see the doctor. The first doctor attempted to diagnose the red marks around my daugthers mouth, which was KOOL AIDE! Next the doctor's, clearily feeling my frustruation with them,informed me that they didn't have any samples (they have always given me at least a couple samples). Today there were none. Also gave me a precription that they knew was NOT covered by my insurance. They never gave me any other recomendations for any over the counter medications that could possibly work… on her face or a perscription for a medication that would be covered by my insurance. I wanted to have my daugther's face cleared up before school started but clearly they were not interested in helping me to accomplish this. This was my daugther's last appointment with this doctor's office and I would not recommend this office to anyone. They are strickly in it for the money (co-payments and billing insurance companies for unnecessary appointments) and not for the care of children.

Dr. Kress saw my 4 year old for a case of molluscum. He seemed irritated that I did research on the internet and made me feel like I was inconveniencing him. He didn't even look my son over and just treated the spots that I showed him. My son asked why the dr. wasn't friendly when we left. Dr. Kress..you work with children...you should act like you like them! My 4 year old picked up on how disrespectful you were.

My 5 year old daughter had a mole from birth that formed a blister and began darkening around it. After a month of worrying, i took her to the dr. Her pediatrician felt that it needed checked as soon as possible. I came from two hours away expecting peace of mind and a GOOD pediatric dermatologist. After an hour wait, dr Kress spent all of 1 and a half minutes with us. He was very condescending, dismissed my concern and decided it was just a pimple on her mole, then described it to me like I was the five year old and do not know what a clogged pore is. He gave her acne cream and did nothing more than glance at it. He wouldnt test it. I spent 6 hours of driving (with traffic), a large copay, not to mention the deductible for this visit, and I still am worried about my daughter. In my opinion, he was cold, arrogant, and no bedside manner for my child. We will not return.

He knew exactly what my problem was, and fixed me right up! A few other dermatologists could not do what he did.The only annoying thing about going to that office is that it is very busy, and full of residents and physician assistants, but you do get to see the doctor and there never is a wait.
