Ive had 2 different sections of my neck Dr. Reig fixed for me. Pre & post op went very well. I only have had muscle soreness but thats to be expected with such intense surgery as i had. My neck consist of a cadaver bone & lots of metal. You may think the weather affects it but it dont. I consider myself blessed.

I am very happy with the level of care I received from Dr Reig and his staff. I was extremely uneasy about what to expect prior to pre op and especially on my day of surgery but his staff answered all my questions and we're reassuring on day of surgery. I went in not knowing what to expect and along the way his staff were very open on what I can expect next. This was my first surgical experience and I honestly felt like the entire team had my best interest at heart...like old friends helping me in time of need. I couldn't thank them enough for making me feel so at ease during the entire process. Thank you one and all!

Dr. Reig performed surgery on my lower back. I had a ruptured disc which in-turn caused direct bone pressure on the nerve. I was in serve pain and having difficulty walking (left leg). Surgery went very well and post surgical procedure has been flawless. Pain and numbness have been eliminated except for a slight numbness lingering in my left foot. This numbness is common and should dissipate within 2-3 months if not sooner.

Excellent Neurosurgeon! Dr Adam Reig performed surgery on my lower back and one month later I am almost pain free. I had pain in my left leg for several years. I believe he performed a discectomy and removed bone spurs or growths. I could tell my pain was gone when I woke up after surgery. All the staff were excellent as well.

Dr. Reig performed a Lumbar Laminectomy on my lower back in May, 2017. As soon as my feet hit the floor after surgery, the terrible stabbing pain I had been dealing with was gone! Three years later, and I'm still doing well. He looked at my MRI on my first visit, and said "Here's the problem, and I can fix that." The office itself is very efficient. Dr. Reig isn't one of those physicians with a warm and gentle bedside manner, but that's OK. He knows his business.

Dr. Adam Reig is a gifted surgeon. I had cervical disc surgery several years ago by Doc. I had the same surgery several decades earlier at a different location in the neck by a different physician so I had something to compare the procedure to. Dr. Reig left me with an awesome range of motion, very minimum down time and a very short recuperation period. Recently Dr. Reig performed a laminectomy to free up my lower back. In the process he also removed crippling arthritis. I felt much better immediately following the procedure. I had been in increasingly extreme pain following a 1985 car wreck. All problems I was experiencing in the lower back, buttocks and legs got immediate positive results. I feel great at one month post op. It began within a week of the surgery. Dr. Reig also has incredible bedside manners and takes the time to explain. I would never see anyone else for my neurosurgical needs. His work is truly an art. Thanks for giving me my life back Dr. Reig. I had no idea I could… feel this good after so many years of the other. Thank you.

Dr. Adam Reig has done surgery on both my neck and lower back. I couldn't have been more pleased. Dr Reig did an excellent job preparing me for the surgery and I have had excellent results from both surgeries. The key is doing what I was told to do and not doing the things I was told not to do. I hope that I do not require further surgery, but if I do I will absolutely return to Dr. Adam Reig and Howell Allen Clinic. The entire staff was awesome, from the housekeepers, nurses, physical therapist, and receptionist.

Dr. Reig was amazing. He performed a moby c disk replacement on my C6/C7. My recovery was perfect and I have full range of motion in my neck. Immediately after surgery, I was pain free. I only took one pain pill and that was the night after surgery because I was afraid I would hurt in the night. I never took another one; I had no pain. I am now 6 weeks post surgery, still pain free, and my incision is only noticeable if you are looking for it. I highly recommend Dr. Reig. I know if I have any other spine problems, I will definitely go back to him. I'm also recommending him to all of my friends and family who have or may know someone with spine problems.

I have read the other reviews. Several people have mentioned his bedside manner is lacking. I did not find this to be the case, however, I wasn't looking for a lifelong buddy. I was looking for the best neurosurgeon I could find to remove the golf ball sized schwannoma from my C1/C2 spine. Dr. Reig did that perfectly. I have no deficit after surgery and it even relieved the one deficit that was the original reason for visiting him. He seems like a very straightforward no nonsense Doctor. I guess if you're looking for someone who will go on long strolls with you to discuss your feelings, or put on a puppet show to soften the blow of your life altering medical diagnosis, you may want to look for another option. However, if you are in the market for an excellent neurosurgeon who will give you the best chance to come out better than you went in, I would highly recommend him.
