First visit It took well over 1 hour to see the Doc. 2nd visit saw his PA who prescribed Cipro for my simple UTI. The FDA has a black box warning that Cipro should never be given to anyone unless it's the only medication that would be effective. There are many antibiotics that could have been prescribed for my UTI. "(Cipro) -- shouldn't be prescribed for sinusitis, chronic bronchitis or simple urinary tract infections unless no other treatments options exist because the drugs can lead to disabling side effects, including long-term nerve damage and ruptured tendons." From the FDA! Dr Yamada disagreed and said it was OK for PA to give me Cipro. 3rd visit again with PA who wrote a prescription for an X-ray at the Imaging Center. But wrote it wrong causing me to have to wait almost a hour until the center could reach him. Dr is probably skilled but having an incompetent PA and saying no problem with him giving me a very dangerous medication is OK is reason enough to avoid… this place like the plague.
