Dr. Anjaneyulu Alapati, MD

He doesn’t listen very well. Staff is very rude. My main complaint is him. If I call and need to change my meds or anything, he will call in an order for something I’m allergic to ( he has done twice). He doesn’t listen at all to concerns or anything. He rushes patients out the door and I do not find that ok. Overall, I would not recommend him to anyone. I would put my full observation of the place down, but it’s too long and ugh. My overall thought of the place, it’s awful.

Dr. Alapati has treated my Mothers Parkinsons for years, she has been diagnosed for almost 20 years. His goal is to help her manage with medications to reduce the impact and symptoms to help her maintain a good quality of life. Her quality of life is so much better than many other people we know that has Parkinsons and not been diagnosed nearly as long and do not use this doctor. We are very happy with the care she has and is receiving from him.

"if it ain't broke, don't fix it". This was my first visit after my neurologist of over 10 years left town for a new job. The treatment I was on had worked well, yet Dr. Alapati completely ruined it and my quality of life. He tried to prescribe a new medication that my insurance would not accept even with a prior authorization and did not refill any of my previous prescriptions. So I was left with no headache/migraine relief and nothing for the burning/pins and needles in my feet or for restless legs. I'm sorry I cannot recommend this Doctor to anyone, He let a student do the assessment and came into the room for all of a minute afterward. He does seem like a nice enough fellow though.

6 years ago I was in a coma for about a month with a rare illness. The odds were completely against me waking up (about 1/80million, I’ve recently learned) let alone resuming a normal life. Now I’m one semester away from graduating college. Dr. Alapati is partially responsible for my existence today.

When I went in the nurse told me that a student would be with the Dr. but I only got to see the student, then at the end he comes in and sums up what the students findings were, I was really upset, my primary Dr, did a better neuro test than he did.

He never came to the hospital to talk to the family about the CT scan that was performed at the hospital. He was asked by medical staff to come back to the hospital to speak with the family about the patients scan and never did. He doesn't even deserve one star on a scale of 1 to 5.

He is the worst so called dr and i use the word loosely. He ia very cocky. He acts like he is only there for a paycheck and in reality he does not even deserve one. He is rude and did not ask any questions concerning my daugnters health or seizures. My daughter is 20 and does not have insurance. Our bill was 277.00 he was in there less than 2 min so you can do the math on how much he is making an hour. I would not recommend this dr to ANYONE. The staff was very kind and helpful but we will not be back to this office and hope that no one else has the horrible experience we did. I agree with the post about the goat in the white coat. We could have understood and trusted a goat better. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! WORST DR EVER and I work in healthcare so I have been aroubd a lot of doctors.

A bit short on patient friendliness.

iVE HAD TWO APPOINTMENTS WITH HIM DUE TO MY mULTIPLE sCLEROSIS. hE DOESNT SPEAK ABOUT MY MS. HE DOESNT SEEM TO CARE ABOUT MY SYMPTOMS WITH MS ALL HE HAS EVER DID WAS MAINLY DO BLOOD WORK. I CAN NEVER SEEM TO GET A RESPONSE FROM HIM ON THE PHONE. I WENT TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM ONCE CAUSE I BELIEVED I WAS HAVING A RELAPSE. I DIDN'T GET PRESCRIBE ANYTHING TILL THE NEXT DAY WHEN I CALLED CALLED THE OFFICE AND THEN I WAS PRESCRIBE STEROIDS..

I have been dealing with dr. Alapati as a sister of a handicapped patient of dr. Alapati for approximately 20 years. He over the last 3 or 4 years has declined in his services giving her no attention, not listening to what we have to say at all. Every 6 months we have to visit him. He will rush us out of there talking over me without hearing anything that we say. As a caregiver of my sister, I notice when her behavior changes, showing indication of pain. And since she cannot speak herself, I am her voice. Each time I try to explain changes in her temperament he will just talk over me. I am just so disgusted with the way he treats her! Six months ago, I told him I believed she may have an ear infection. Which he would not even looked if I would not have persuaded him. He did not even place the scope close enough to her ear, but gave a diagnosis of no infection or problem. Three days later her ear ruptured. We took her to her primary( which he throws in our face even before our sentence… is completed) and she was treated. Although, not his field, he does not even have the compassion to listen to find out if her issues are neurological or otherwise. This last visit sent me over the edge. And this last visit was worse than six months ago! Arrogance and ignorance, lack of compassion and communication make him the worst so called doctor I/we, have ever met!
