Dr. Anthony Thomas Amabile, MD

I look for intelligence in a doctor, and Dr. Amabile is quite intelligent. He looks at trends in your blood work, not just that the value is between the norms. He is straight up and to the point if he sees a problem: no sugar coating. I like a doctor that calls it like he sees it and then can support his opinions with data. Dr Amabile is all business and I have no problem with that. He is an excellent doctor.

Dr. Amabile is by far the most thorough doctor I have ever treated with. He’s always on point and gives it to you straight. He genuinely cares about the well being of his patients and their care. I have treated with him for more than 20 years for my Type 1 diabetes and continuously enjoy a great life by following his medical treatment. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Went with my elderly mother. He came in the room and never acknowledged our presence. Just started typing on the computer. Is rude and doesnt want the family members to be with an elderly family member. Talks in medical jargon above our heads and doesnt explain things.

Dr Amabile is very nice, some staff are nice, others are bothered you ask questions and annoyed that you may be interrupting them chatting about their weekend. When you are sick, you really don't feel like being put off because they're discussing their social life. Dr. Amabile is extremely rushed though, very knowledgeable but at times cuts you off so he can run to the next patient. Although I do like him a lot, I just wish he wouldn't overbook.

I was absolutely disgusted by my treatment in this office, specifically Dr Amabile. I have never in my life had an experience with a doctor as I did with Dr. Amabile. He didn't touch me or check my lungs/breathing, didn't listen to anything I said just responded with plenty of "mm hmm, yeah, right". I think he looked me in the eye ONCE during the entire session. Left me in the room giving me nor the nurses or receptionist any guidance. I will not be returning, I will take as much time as possible to find a doctor who cares about my well being and treats me like a human being. Dr Amabile, you are in serious need of character counseling.

Poorly prepared for 2nd appt. I personally delivered test results records etc. Barely looked at me, no eye contact. Poor diagnostician. Receptionist rude. I am sick, in pain & he had less time for me than the drug pushers saleswomen in and out of the office. He treated me like a lab rat. Physicians Assistant is very nice but unfortunately she isn't the doctor.

May not have the best bedside manner, but if you want a serous, no nonsense Doctor, this is the man for you. He tells you cut and dried what is wrong and what you need to do, no sugar-coating. Which is what I like in a doctor.

I have been a patient of Doctor Amabile's for over 6 years, He has always been great to me and very helpful!! His staff is very friendly and I have NEVER had to wait to be seen.
